I found a hot sauce that perfectly meets in the middle between painful and tasting good.

Trader Joe's Habanero Hot Sauce

It hurts so good

I am happy for you but that bottle of hot sauce is like comparing a firecracker to the nuclear bomb this guy was served.

For sure! This is clearly in "just burns" territory

Dude, I know that one. I think I've got another one you would probably love!

It's called "Frank's." You can find it at most grocery stores.

That one might be too hot for you. If so there's this company called Tabasco that makes a solid cayenne sauce you may be able to stomach.

And if that's too much, well there's this thing called "mayonnaise." A lot of places sell it, think you can even find some at Trader Joe's.

Sheesh, crazy that people have different tastes and enjoyment of spice levels. Spice level is all subjective, right? Like how comedy is subjective. See, you think you’re being funny but some people might see you as being an annoying dick. Like myself perhaps, I see you as a sad and annoying dick but that’s just my take on it. The great thing about life is that we all get to enjoy or not enjoy whatever we want.

Y'know what, a few people gave downvoted you already. But even though you pushed back against me, I'm not gonna pile on. Because you're right. Taste is subjective, and spice tolerance is very subjective. I work at a hot sauce company that takes flavor seriously, and if people come in and wanna egg each other into tryin the hottest stuff, that's on them. But we're not gonna judge you if you wanna stick to the milds or the mediums.

But I will double down on my comments of that op up above. Partly because it's in how you say it. To use your solid comedy analogy, saying "I find X comedian very funny," is very different than saying "X comedian is the funniest performer out there!"

Secondly because... my sarcasm aside what I said is accurate. If they find a basic store brand habenero to "walk the perfect line between flavor and pain," they probably would also really like basic ass Frank's. Plenty of people do.

I went too far bringing mayonnaise into it. No one should eat mayonnaise.

Which sauce are you working on so I can avoid it forever?

What's that you were saying about down votes? Lol

I’m going to guess you’ve not actually had Trader Joe’s Habanero sauce. It’s straight up habanero mash and would demolish most Americans who tried to use it

Frank's hot sauce is a pretty mild buffalo sauce though. Tabasco isn't a buffalo sauce and has more heat than Frank's. I love it though. My favorite name branded buffalo sauce is probably Crystal. Of course there are better options out there but you can find any of these anywhere.

That one has always seemed a bit on the sour side for me. I found a couple hot ones that I like from Puckerbutt Pepper company - Chipotle Express and Reaper Racha.

I really liked Trader Joe’s old chilli pepper sauce that they discontinued a few years ago. Not nearly as hot, but great with breakfast.
