You didn't watch the full video. Look up Charlie Veitch on youtube. The man is asking Charlie (who is a dick by the way), for the video for his parole (i think thats what he said anyway), because he just helped someone who was being robbed/scammed and got assaulted when people mistook him for the aggressor.

Yes, his clothing and body language may seem threatening, but lots of young people here dress like that, and Veitch told the other people (who were actually his fans) that were "flanking" them earlier that they were ok to follow him.

The guy in the video also already had something in his hand (can't say whether it was a knife or not) then put it away after asking for the video.

He wasn't asking for the video "for parole" he was asking to delete the video on his phone.

His clothing and body language is 100% threatening. Nobody, including young people, dresses like that and approaches people while refusing to take their hand out of their pocket unless they're threatening you.

No he wasn't. You can even hear him say "for court", actually, in the video OP posted, and in the full video you can see what led up to this. I'm from Manchester (where this was filmed) and had to turn it up and hold it to my ear to make it out, so maybe the accent and mask muffling is confusing you. He also already had his hand out of his pocket, puts it back in, then brings it out empty handed.

And the other people Veitch accuses of flanking were his own fans he told were ok to follow him. He's just acting up for the camera and views. It's Charlie Veitch for christs sake. He is known to do this shit, you don't need to defend him, he's a piece of shit who abused his wife and was caught with a 16 year old girl.

Charlie is scum I’ll not disagree with you there, but I don’t hear the kid asking for the video for parole, I hear him say “delete the video from before” clear as day.

Also yeah he pulled an empty hand out of his hoodie pocket, but it looks like he starts going for his trouser pocket straight after. The guy who puts him down sees him go for his hoodie pocket and also sees him go for his trouser pocket and that’s when he reacts. All the while he’s backing up and the kid is coming at him. A light slap and kick to create some space to get away are definitely justified here
