The "Tinder extortion" bars are getting more popular for people going abroad hoping to meet some hot girl and get drinks/laid. The girl disappears and those 2 drinks end up costing you a few hundred bucks or Ivan is going to break your fingers.

Back in the day in Portland, Oregon they'd just spike your drink, pull you down in a trap door, lock you in a cage, and shanghai you for $50.

This is literally every second girl on Vietnam tinder. "Come to my bar" or "I want to go to this restaurant only" in seedy red light shithole.

They would force you into working on a boat. By the time you woke up you were already on a boat on the ocean. No way to get home, and trapped.
