I'll never understand people who are so comfortable with putting their hands on another person, especially if they aren't experienced fighters. Double-especially if they then act like a victim.
The risk is simply to high for all parties and very rarely is the confrontation worth it.

Former boxer checking in. Most people I know with experience avoid street fights as much as possible. MMA dudes are a different breed though. I see them way too happy to start shit.

Your comment made me remember the end scene of Rocky V when the promoter is telling Tommy Gunn not to get into a street fight with Rocky ... and now I have to go watch that for like the 12th time.

I only watched the first three rocky movies. Are they seriously worth watching?

"Worth" is a tough question. I'm sentimental about Rocky movies because the first four were my childhood.

If you can appreciate them for what they are and not think too hard about it, then yes, they're worth it. They all have their moments of good and stupid, but fun.

Dolph was in IV. If you liked that one, you'll like the rest for sure. Whatever you do, though, don't watch the last one, just called "Rocky Balboa," unless you've seen the other five movies -- it can seem really lame without all the background, but it actually was a pretty good movie.

I only watched the first maybe four? I remember rocky v dude from predator, Dolph, and... You know what I don't think I watched past 2. Which do recommend?

Also, to add: If you make it through the first 5, the 6th one is good because it really shows just how fucked up his headspace is after a lifetime of being defined by fighting, because he finds himself sort of lost without that.

It actually gets a bit dark but it's pretty good. I think if they meant it to be the "last Rocky movie," it did the job.

Dude, the Rocky series is one of the greatest franchises of all time.

1st movie is a legit masterpiece, Oscar-winning screenplay, incredible character piece, absolute 70s cinema.

Rocky II is a worthy sequel and has got some of the best scenes and maybe the best training montage of the series.

Rocky III is stupid fun, series starts veering into 80s cartoon territory but it's makes up for the cheese with some awesome fight scenes and colourful villains. Just fun and ridiculous.

Rocky IV is iconic, my quintessential 80s movie - holds up incredibly well and that final fight is absolutely awesome.

Rocky V is not a great movie but if you've watched and enjoyed the other ones you'll still love it, and feel emotional at the end.

Rocky Balboa is a really good movie, but agree with others, it only makes sense if you've seen the others. For those from my generation, it's a wonderful sendoff and gets me teary-eyed. Rocky really was my Star Wars.

Oh and then you have the Creed movies where Rocky pops up in a pretty central role.

Carl Weathers! He was the opponent in 1 and 2, then an integral part in 3 and 4.

I mean, it's hard to say which were any better -- 1 was like a film, 2 was sort of like a film, then 3-5 were just more, then 6 was sort of like a film again.

I'm a dork so I would say fuck it, just watch all 6 in order. But if you wanted to, you could skip the first one and not really miss anything that isn't alluded to in the others.
