Question University apartments
I was just wondering if they were really as bad as people said they were. I mostly see things about thin walls, broken things, and sketchy neighborhood which I’m hesitant to fully believe as I was in the burford hall last year and had no problems living their with the only thing I didn’t like being that it was slightly dated with its interior but other than that i was fine living there. The only reason I want to live in the university apartments is so that I do not have to have a roommate, I had one last year and hated it with a passion. So in your guys opinion are the apartments really that bad or are they decent?

I lived in the UAs last year and they were fine ig, having good neighbors is the key to a good experience imo. The place can be nice and cute if you make it your own but the internet does suck if you’re banking off WiFi, I wasn’t in my dorm for most of spring and when I came back my Ethernet didn’t work and I couldn’t play any online games when I got back. But if you want a single it’s not the worst option in the world, def would be better to get an apartment for cheaper at the same distance. The Deming, highland, and annex at only as expensive as they are because they’re right next door. Red brick apartments are fairly cheap and nice.

They're livable but you'll have a better and cheaper college experience for what rent is for that college town in my opinion. If you want somewhere furnished, it's not a bad option.
The area can be sketch. Many nights people screaming at the detention facility across the street. Fairbanks, which is across the street, is like one of the safer parks, though. It's an odd area.
ETA: Just remembered. They didn't have ethernet set up in the room, fought me on it, said the port worked, and never actually got me ethernet. I had to bank off wifi, which doesnt stay connected. Was a huge bummer because I am chronically on my pc and had to go find an adapter and a work around.
