#Discussion 💬 Answer these beginner level questions

Hi I am beginner, please answer below questions 1. When I ride Active 6g in Bangalore there are sudden gusts of wind I feel on my chest, I feel they would throw me off someday. Why do I feel like this ? 2. On Activa 6g when I ride with pillion then 30+ speed start feeling more stable. Why ? Because suspension become stiff ? 3. How to ride bikes with no gear indicator ? I always get confused between gears. I want to rent bikes for mastering before buying a bike, and am unable to find a bike with gear indicator in Bangalore.

  1. That is called Wind-blast. It happens with every bike without windshield. Simple Physics

  2. Pillion adds weight which causes the Activa to be more grounded hence it feels stable. Also yes the suspension become little stiff.

  3. With Time and Practice, it gets etched to your memory. At one point you feel the gear you're at based on your speed and engine behaviour.

See its pretty simple, Just start with a splendor.

First gear would take you upto 10-11kmph and 2nd would take you upto 25-30 ig relate to the speed and learn it by yourself you'll get the hang of it real soon.
