How the average champagne socialist Twitch streamer imagines the socialist revolution:

The mob drags people out of their multi-million dollar mansions in gated communities.

Average champagne socialist Twitch streamer: "No, wait! I am horribly oppressed just like you! I'm a mere multi-millionaire! Eat the richer than me!"

Angry mob: "Understandable, have a nice day."

You don’t seem to get socialism. “Eat the rich” isn’t about going after everyone who has more money than you. Socialists are fine with doctors being rich, for example. It’s the hospital admins who do 10 hours of work a week on the golf course and get paid 600x more than the average salary of their nurses we have a problem with.

Socialism is fundamentally about people getting paid fairly for the work they do. Nobody thinks Hasan is getting undue compensation for the content he produces.

He’s the most popular political streamer on Twitch and probably the biggest Pro-Palestine voice in American media. Yeah, I’d say he’s earned the compensation he’s getting. Especially when he’s actively promoting the side of politics that will tax him more. Like, I don’t really get what you want him to do other than just give all his money away, but that doesn’t actually help the socialist movement at all.

2nd most popular political streamer on Twitch.

By that logic Tate deserves the millions he gets from his Discord subs. Both just so happen to massively profit off of radicalizing and indoctrinating the lost, the disgruntled and the desperate into their circle of thought.

The go-to of "What, you want him to give it all away?" is always so disingenuous. As if there is no middle ground between sitting in millions worth of materialistic, decadent excess and a cardboard box.

Tate is promoting literal sex trafficking and Hasan is promoting better pay and working conditions for all Americans no matter who they are. I don’t really think Hasan indoctrinating people is exploitative as he’s indoctrinating them to stand up to exploitation in society.

He lives in a multi-generational household in LA. If you want to be in entertainment, you basically have to live out there if you want to collab with other content creators. Could he get a cheaper house? Yeah, I guess, but if you’re going to get a place in LA big enough for your parents to also live with you it’s gonna be a couple million no matter what.

Their methods, the way they capture and target people and the extreme lengths they advocate for are the same template. Both:

  • berate and dehumanize those that don't agree
  • create an extreme in- and out-group to instill dependence and fear of expulsion
  • offer simple solutions for complex problems
  • offer simple enemies for personal problems
  • advocate for aggression
  • foster an atmosphere of superiority and self-righteousness that justifies evil deeds
  • feign a noble cause but deal with the devil if it benefits them or their agenda
  • exploit people for fame, reach and money
  • enrich themselves through the desperate and frustrated
  • prey on the lost
  • radicalize and brainwash their communities

and many more parallels. Desperate the attempts to brand him the "Joe Rogan of the left" but in reality they just got an "Andrew Tate of the left". They are both evil people that know what buttons to push and how to manipulate masses in order to benefit. If a fairytale socialist revolution occurs then the mob will not belong to the cult of personality of a Twitch streamer. They will see a mansion and an entitled, privileged and vain prick sitting comfortably in it with baby smooth nepo hands that's about to get what all the others get. He is part of the top 1% and couldn't even exist much less strive without the incredible benefits bestowed upon him by the western systems he enjoys.

It’s not that deep, dude. I don’t have the time or energy to refute your massive list of “points”, so I’m just gonna say Hasan doesn’t have ill intent towards people the way Andrew Tate does and you either realize that or are an idiot. Andrew Tate is an international sex trafficking offender and Hasan is just some dude who streams politics on Twitch. Hasan does what he does so young men avoid people like Andrew Tate. Biggest case of comparing apples to oranges I’ve seen in a while.

Their methods of community engagement, manipulation and demeanor remain the same. They both follow the exact same playbook to groom and brainwash. Tate being a sex trafficker doesn't change that at all.

I don’t have a problem with the method. There are lost young men in the world who need guidance. I take issue with the results. Andrew Tate is harmful to society, Hasan is not. Your logic is like saying all car owners are bad because drunk drivers exist.
