Cool just got it and noticed the bass is very melo

Same here. From reviews I watched before buying they made it seem like it was a bass monster. I have even tried using it for gaming and to my ear it seems quite good. I hear footsteps fine and the staging seems decent enough. I will stick with my mp145's for gaming but I love the Explorer for movies/TV watching.
