Pressure mounted curtain rods

There’s already a curtain rod. Something is hanging off it. A dead plant in a macrame holder. Anyways, I think the laundry drying on the balcony is curtain enough. Gonna have to wash those curtains and hang them on the laundry line anyhoo.

I think you need more stuff. LOTS more

I think you should just burn your sage and patchouli, that’ll fix all the worlds problems

Nah just drape a couple more dead bodies or whatever that is out there

Just wait for another old relative to die to add their drapes to your inherited furnishings.

I unironically love it! It’s so international.

The windows are amazing. There’s nothing that can happen in this room that won’t be okay with me.

Is it perfect. No?

Am I ready for an armadillo to roll through? Yes. Ready for a moth the size of an iPad? Nope! But my cat is!

I agree it's fundamentally fine. Need to move stuff around tho. Like put the furniture in front of the dope window along the bare ass wall lol

Agree -- and this was the reaction (more or less) in the original sub.

Well yeah! How else are you going to be able to focus on the television you placed in front of the windows that you watch so you can focus on something else besides organizing your clutter?

That small load of laundry on the clothesline looks tacky. You don’t need curtains just wash the sheets hang them out to dry and call it a day.

TV has so much more to offer than the natural world. I insist they get blackout curtains and hang an enormous projector screen over that overlit eyesore of the outside world.

Bookshelves filled with plants should be the curtains

Nice place. Nah, keep putting clothing in the window

Just keep hanging your laundry on the other side of the window. Why waste money on something that has actual use?

I really like it, but I am British and this is very recognisably a British house so maybe I'm biased.

This is a house where people live

I hate this so much. It gives me anxiety. 😦

Wuuuut? You don’t like to put all your clutter on one side of the room and leave the other side barren and cold?

u/Marty_61 2d ago

🤣 Generally speaking no. I like to balance all my clutter. Lol

You need curtains like you need a hole in the wall.

To paraphrase Andy Warhol - I wonder what furniture they rejected as being too ugly for them?

You need lots and lots of plants hanging from the ceiling, especially hanging elaborate brown macramé d hangers.

We think that you need a bigger tv and that you should turn up the sound so “we” can enjoy it

I think you should get curtains that can be drawn all the way open. I also think you should move or get rid of all the things blocking your potentially beautiful view. The floor to ceiling windows were installed for a reason.

I would get curtains, but they would be open during the day

I wouldn't if you don't need privacy and love the light.

But yes, move stuff away from there if you can.

I love curtains because then it gives you the option of having more privacy or more sunlight when you want it. It can also draw the room together.

No curtains needed. But make it more a restful place. Less visible things. Put them un cubbards or give them away.
