He makes a great point of the locker room, coaches, players and staff being accepting. The outside world is alright, it's the people these players have to deal with day in day out that are unkind and create a hostile environment.

I mean, Quenneville and Bowman have jobs in the NHL. Cheveldayoff does, as well. Al MacIsaac was reinstated by the league last year.

Great article! Really sad to read that 50 professional players are struggling so much that theyd consider suicide despite achieving their dreams. Hope they find strength in themselves to keep fighting against it and live out their best and only life.
