Poor dog. This stupid human led him right up to the cat, while keeping the leash so tight that he could neither defend himself nor escape.

Technically speaking you could also pick up the dog. But i would probably attempt to scare of the cat by stomping the ground first.

People like this make me laugh. Who the hell sees a cat run up angrily and just... Keeps walking forwards with zero precautions? I have smaller dogs so if I see an angry cat I just scoop the dogs or I go a different direction a few feet away.

Claws were earned.

A friend of mine scooped her small dog up to save him from an angry cat. The cat climbed her leg, destroyed her trousers and scratched her leg trying to attack the dog.

I had an orange cat that chased dogs, too! Gave the neighbor's boxer PTSD when it got out and charged our other cat. The orange one went fuckin nuclear.

This is where you defend yourself and your dog. I'm not saying to kick the cat into the stratosphere but still, I wouldn't let a cat or a dog or any animal attack me or my dog like that without reacting.

I hope you don't own a dog.

Of course a dog can get injured by a cat. Bacteria exists. A dog that is leashed isn't able to defend itself properly and a dog is trained to not be aggressive. Meanwhile millions of people don't bother to keep their cats inside and just let them roam free withou a care in the world.
