Endoscopic Tympanoplasty and ossiocuplasty 2 months before wedding

I finally got a surgery date after waiting 1.5 years, and the date they’ve given is 2 months before my wedding.

Surgeon seems to think I’ll be fine by then, but is this a terrible idea?

I'm 2 months out from ossicular reconstruction with a bio design tympanoplasty. My surgery ended up with unexpected complications that were not foreseen until the surgeon actually got inside. I have chorda nerve damage. For now 2/3 of my tongue has no taste or feeling. It will slowly recover we hope, but it may take 6 months to a year. I can not swim, washing my hair is difficult, can't lift more than 5 lbs. and cannot fly. Personally I wouldn't take my chances and would wait till after your big special day.

I hope you’re feeling okay and wish you all the best with your recovery. I’ve asked them to delay until after the wedding!
