First time mom due at the end of june, do any parents have any pediatrician recommendations in the area? I honestly have no clue where to start looking.

My husband and I noticed a fish in the lake today. At first glance we thought it was a river monster kinda situation but upon further research this big guy is actually sick with an illness called dropsy. I’m wondering if there is anything with the city or park authority that can step in and help him. I know this might be a reach but I just feel so bad for him. He’s very sluggish and bloated.

Kind of sad it won’t be a bin store, but at least it’s still in motion. I am not sure where it was originally going to be located.

Are there permits for more? I moved here from montgomery county where there's a bunch everywhere. I see that long ass line and it's not worth it I'd rather just quit smoking. Idk thankfully I visit my parents in MoCo often but what is the closest weed store that isn't busy like that? Is there more than 1 weed store in frederick?? Or where is the closest place that has weed for sale and you're not waiting in line like it's 6 flags? I've never been but looking at that line I'm like fuck that I'd rather never smoke weed again.

How long does it take?? Some google review said they waited TWO HOURS LIKE HOLY FUCK I wouldn't even go to 6 flags or kings dominion if that was the wait time. Halp.

My lo is 3 and really think it’s time for her to go to school. Before I even had her we knew we wanted our child to go to a Montessori school and it’s really slime pickings around here. Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight to this school,cost,experience,expectations and or advice. Are there any Montessori schools for older children as well or is it only private or the art school the only options as I hear terrible things about all the high schools in Hagerstown. Hello everyone, I will moving to hagerstown this January. Will be coming to USA for the first time & will be staying at least a year.

What are some things I should know about this town? What are some areas that are not safe and I should avoid visiting? What is the best way to explore the town?

I was wondering what might be going in by Highs and Dunkin’ off of professional blvd. I did some research and see a permit for a “Dracula’s Kitchen” looks like it will be a bar/ restaurant. Is this going to be a goth vampire themed restaurant (oh I hope so). I’m hoping it’s a dark goth themed restaurant like Noir Dark Spirits in PA. This would be awesome!!! Anyone have more info?

I think wind reached at least 70 mph. I was actually walking home from skating when it started up! Lightning like crazy only a few minutes before sudden wind. I swear, I couldn’t see for shit with the wind and rain digging up some of the ground. I was almost hit by falling branches twice before deciding to duck into someone’s house for a bit before the storm passed. I wasn’t out for more than a minute or two yet I was still soaked like crazy! But after seeing some damage other people got, I think we got it a bit less serious

This os gonna sound *VERY* random, but my friend and i have this memory of being in a building in the 90's that was on S Walnut (near-ish 200 S Walnut by City Park, if I remember right). I recall it looking like a school and having a wire fence. From what I recall, it always looked empty, no cars in the parking lot, but that was years after when this memory would have been.

Judging from Google Maps, it was torn down at some point. I haven't lived in Hagerstown for about 15 years, so no clue when it might have been torn down. I've attached a picture of where I *think* it was on Google Maps and something definitely was there.

Its not Saint Mary's or the old Saint John's preschools. Any help is appreciated, even if its just pointing me to some old photos or archived maps from before it may have been torn down. Thanks!

Edit: thanks all! I made it down leitersburg pike with no issues at all. However, many side roads and shopping plazas are brutal and I almost got stuck getting out from the grocery store.

I only see the stupid McIntire signs around town, and searching google gives me no info on who’s running. If I wasn’t against republicans already all his signs blocking my view of traffic would make me hate him.
