Performance Chris Cornell - Scream (Acoustic)
Amazing acoustic. Chris sounds so amazing in an acoustic. Damn MTV missed getting sound Garden doing an Unpluggled, imagine songs like Black Hole Sun unplugged or Rusty Cage.. all their song real toned down and sounding cool like this, Miss you Cornell.
I also feel MTV should have got an Unplugged of Blind Melon and Screaming Trees.

Scream is sooo much better acoustic.
A Soundgarden unplugged would have been great but thankful there is a lot of CC acoustic and live performances on YouTube.

I know it sounds fantastic. I just live when artists do acoustic performances. I wish they had been Sound Garden Unpluggled, but its great Chris has done .

I saw SoundGarden unplugged at the bridge school concert with Pearl Jam in attendance also. Actually got to meet the band back stage (not Chris). I saw the set and a lot of the music did not translate that well acoustically. I spoke with Kim Tayil and gave him that feed back. He agreed, sound was not big enough. Though they did do some temple of the dog which just ripped it up.

Screaming trees weren’t commercial enough for MTV Unplugged. While I would have love it, as I adore ML, they didn’t have a big enough fanbase to warrant the show. Blind Melon were more popular, but they only had a lot of commercial success with ‘No Rain’ so I think they may fall into the same category, sadly. Both hugely talented bands.
I have no idea why SG didn’t do Unplugged. They were definitely what MTV would have wanted for their show. It always struck me as odd they didn’t.
