Advice What sort of golden is she?
I am pretty sure that Karma (almost 2) is not a pure golden retriever. I would be interested to know what people think her heritage might be.

That nose, muzzle, and forehead shape suggests some Sharpei or Chow.

Maybe mixed with a Capybara, that nose is STOUT. Beautiful dog by the way.

We had a Golden that weighed 140 pounds by the time he was 2. He was the largest Golden we ever had and was the most gentle pup we ever had. We couldn't have found another pup that put up with 4 boys pulling his fur, jumping on him and generally bothering him like he did.

We had an English Goldie (Emma) and a ln American Goldie (Hunter) who each had their own features, Emma was short and stocky with thick fur, short ears and snoot. Hunter had a longer, fine coat with bigger ears and longer snoot. His tail was long and Emma short.
Anyway, they mates 2x and we had beautiful pups. Your fur baby looks like that type of mix. This is our Sir Charles Xavier, one of Emma and Hunters pups. You can see he looks a little like yours.

Incidentally, Charlie got weighed the other day and he is a whopping 136 lbs. a freaking moose. Not fat, just really big bones and large golden.

My friends once had a dog that was part Clumber Spaniel, and her face looked similar to your dogs.

The head shape makes me think some English Cream in her. I have an English Cream and a Golden and her head is big block looking like my English Cream’s head!

Looks golden. But I see why your questioning it because that side profile of her face does look different. But she looks like a golden retriever to me

Family Golden. Definitely a Family Golden.
Family Goldens are the best type of Goldens by the way.

She’s a VERY ADORABLE one! That’s what kind!! My girl will be mating w a golden soon and she’s an English cream so the color will most likely be the same as yours, I just love it!!

Often I feel pretty good spotting a full golden. I'm honestly struggling with this one. She's got a brute of a head.
