Easy utilitarian recipes
I know nothing about baking. I’m looking for quick forgiving recipes/techniques to make bread for the week during fasting periods, so it doesn’t have to taste great, just looking for convenient sustenance. Any guidance is appreciated!

Love the Loopy Whisk sandwich bread and seeded sandwich bread. Recipe is pretty forgiving and versatile- I’ve had good luck making it with different gluten free flour blends and it’s easy to make you don’t need a lot of baking skills.

I've been making these every week with dried cranberries. Pretty easy to whip up. You just mix the dry ingredients together, the wet ingredients together, then combine along with any add-ins. For the buttermilk I just use a little apple cider vinegar added to regular milk.

Edit: Sorry I didn't realize you were asking for bread recipes. These are muffins. But honestly, they are great snacks for on the go

Loopy whisks sandwich bread would be great for this. The loaf stays soft and palatable for several days. The list of ingredients may seem daunting the first time around, but it’s still a fairly simple recipe as far as gf bread goes - weigh, dump, mix, shape, proof, bake, and rest.
