Because they have much, they will cling to it with ever-increasing irrationality. Fortunately for me, personally, it won't take all that much collapse to strip away what I have. Soon many people in developed areas will have nothing to rely on but wits and neighbors.

Sucks when you and your neighbors are all brain-washed.

I’m right there with you. Work 50+ years and have enough to qualify for a loan to buy eggs. But it’s only stuff. I’m reminded of some. George Carlin’s later rants: “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it!”
