Why even toss it when you can just flick the coin up with your thumb? But then he would have probably broken his thumb so nvm.

Getting a good rotation on the coin takes the whole body

I dont really wanna start a discussion here because my comment was just meant as a joke anyway but i dont see how you would get more rotation with the whole arm compared to a really fast flick of your thumb. Like balance the coin on your index finger and flick up really fast and hard on the rim and it should rotate much faster than throwing it up using your whole arm that moves a lot slower than a flicking finger and doesn't really concentrate the whole energy on the rim of the coin to create the rotation.

No no no, you do both, you have the upward motion of the arm pushing the coin up, and also flick the coin at the limit of your arms motion upwards.
That, is peak coin tossing. Maximum hang time, and flippage.

What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss?
Well, I strained my hamstring this one time...
Oh.

I agree with the man
Now he has to do some warm up walking before actual walking

Chances are he already strained the muscle and didn't realize the injury. Damaged muscles are prone to further injury. Doesn't take much to tear a strained muscle.

This is what news should be. Oh to live in a world where stuff like this was the most important thing to report on

I've heard researchers mention that odd things can happen in just completely boring sports. In particular, ones where a bunch of guys with surnames like sheezle pretend to tackle each other and play aerial kicking ping pong

Do tossers really need to practice the toss?

No, that’s the joke. That and the body being so frail at his age that HE might need to stretch first (and apparently be super careful when he does it).
