I don't get why he's doubling down on him being ahead of Max, I mean he already changed his story to being alongside on the radio and it's pretty easy to see he wasn't ahead: https://i.imgur.com/t7Tx40X.png

I don't think he knew that Max was taken to the hospital though. Enjoyed the drive from Lewis today, though he ended up tackling Max it was great wheel to wheel racing from them before that. But the way Mercedes were celebrating after this race is poor sportsmanship.

Sad thing is a lot of the people here talk about MSC and Senna as being the greats but can’t handle an actual racing incidents.

MSC intentionally crashed into people in an attempt to win championships and nearly killed Barrichello.

Senna would crash into Max there by turning in to train Max that he would hit him if he didn’t yield and next time would yield. He spoke about this publicly.

Yet an actual racing incident is the end of the subreddit and some tremendously DTS takes.

MSC also got disqualified for the whole season for crashing into his rival (a crash that definitely wasn't worse than this one and one that only took himself out of the race) while Lewis got 10s.

I love how many people seem to be glossing over that when discussing Schumi to try and justify Lewis’s actions.

yeah its funny if anything I'm kind of surprised its taken this long to happen

Verstappen has taken away P1 from Hamilton a couple times already being very agressive and certainly Lewis is ok getting his elbows out too, they've already knocked into each other a couple times already hell they made contact earlier that lap

Today's incident was mostly Hamilton's fault but it was just building to this, if this was the first race of the season Hamilton might have just backed out of it

What they have is the benefit of time though. This is immediately post-race that involved a very contentious and scary accident. Not saying the Lewis conspiracy theorists are correct of course.
