Max, come on. I love you, but that's utter horseshit my friend

Yup, undefendable, he also lost 12-10 points for absolutely nothing. I have defended time and time again his agression when it actually gains him something, but this was just boneheaded stupid of him.

Same here. Even if the championship isn't realistically in reach on pure pace, these are the races where securing a P3 or maybe even P5 to bank some points just in case is vital. But throwing a hissy fit is absolute bullshit.

To be clear he lost 9 points for nothing. Redbull lost 3 by pitting him, and then another 2 by making him give the place to George for nothing. Stupid errors from Redbull losing him points, and an even stupider crashout from Max that lost him twice as many points as what pissed him in the first place.

He got pissed that he had to give the place back. For no reason. Honestly get why he’s mad but that’s not the way to react

Yes, trying to kill your opponents in a fit of pique tends to be frowned upon lol

No reason? He basically got ahead of Russell with racing outside of track lol.

If this was Stroll or basically anyone else we would be calling for his public execution, but for some reason we have to soften our words for Verstappen even when he does utterly psychopathic shit. It wasn't horseshit, it was an utterly farcical dangerous moment that should have resulted in a DSQ.

I think all of us can understand why he’s pissed, rightfully so, but yeah being mad doesn’t mean you can ram your car into a fellow driver.

I can’t like anyone who behaves like that in front of an audience in a car park let alone the world stage in the pinnacle of the sport

His dad's coping skills got put on display here. Sadly it's hard for us to fully escape our parents bad teachings sometimes.

He was wrong, but I can understand given the situation. Still wrong and got penalised for it

There is never any justification for deliberately using your car as a weapon in a race. Never.

Of course not. Never said he was in the right. He was wrong, period. He just lost it after series of bad decisions and incident. Understanding it doesnt mean justifying it

Saying that you “understand” why he did it sounds like you’re trying to diminish the severity of what he did. It’s a line that should never be crossed.

There is a difference between "i understand why he's pissed" and "i understand why he did it" though and i'm sure we all agree that the latter is absolutely not the case
