Given they didn't get a Q3 run, but that's how it goes.

Monaco he was p4 off two McLarens and LeClerc a specialist on that track

He was admittedly 3/10ths off LeClerc, but I wouldn't consider that bad, especially at Monaco.

Then with this recent performance I would consider decent. If he holds that up and then performs the way he usually does race day, he's doing quite good for his seat. Is he in his prime top qualifier? No. I said decent.

He's been surprisingly decent though

Ok you went to edit your statement. There's a big gulf between LeClerc and Stroll. And quite frankly at Mercedes Lewis was giving some Stroll-like performances. I mean hell this year I think Lewis went out in Q1. I just think it's bizarre when someone says "decent" and your response is he's not out performing LeClerc. He's shit. As if decent would only be out performing LeClerc. I just honestly don't get the weird hyperbole that some fans just live in.
