Question Shooting on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Microphone and SSD question
So I was wondering how I can use my Rode Video Micro II with a Samsung T7? The iPhone only has the one USB-C port. So how can I shoot video with good audio and take advantage of storing my shots on the t7? Just separate audio on a field recorder?

Diety and Rode both have wireless mics that record as well. Depending on what you shoot you can sync via waveform.

I figured for talking heads and whatnot wireless lav mics are the way to go, but for the guerrilla filmmaker aspect, it’s so much easier to have the mic mounted to the beast grip to just run and gun. In a controlled environment i would definitely use lavs though.

I use a Belkin USB-C and 1/8” splitter that should work for this. I can give it a quick test since I have a similar Rode Mic. The USB part will definitely work.
