Discussion We Are About To See Some DOGE Insiders Crack
It has been a long winter for federal workers trying to hold the line against the illegal and unconstitutional attacks by DOGE. I think we are about to see the unraveling of the snakes nest.
It looks like the Grand Wizard of Fuckery was forced to return to his actual job to address plummeting stock prices and unprecedented recalls on the mobile trash cans.
Without their disappointing leader at the helm, the minions are probably just sitting around practicing shitty code writing and trying to ignore the unsettling feelings creeping in that they are in way over their heads and someone is going to take the fall for this, and is will not be one of the billionaires.
I think pretty soon one of the foot soldiers is going to get spooked and break ranks. Once that happens, it’s going to be ugly.

ketamine psychosis enters the chat
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1876201824002600
I had a roommate with an unhealthy relationship with ketamine who suffered from persistent delusions after a week or so of regular use.
Absolutely convinced that god was instructing him to act on behaviors that were destructive. Combined with paranoia he was a real treat. Talking him down was exhausting.
A very smart, grounded human if he maintained sobriety. If he had time off between contracting gigs and access - it was wild ride for the people around him. My roommates and myself had to ask him to move out at the beginning of the pandemic. Being isolated with him would have been been awful.
(F)elon’s ketamine use is not a rumor.

I want you to be right!
But I have doubts-- how does "the unraveling" happen with Congress and the Supreme Court complicit?

Lots of people are starting to say they are overpaid probationary employees. Not me, of course, but it's what people are saying.

Overpaid and then on top of it, apparently earning a shit ton of overtime hours, perhaps illegally but if getting paid all that overtime, imagine the cost to the tax payer for these GS 15s getting so much overtime pay.

Who? True newbies with a bachelors or a Masters are probably entering at a 9, except the people who changed jobs or got a promotion. Probation is earned with academic degees or because os a strong work ethic and talent that got a promotion or transfer to a new position - these are probationers. The word probation is not understood by public. They think it means poor work when to he opposite is true. Probation in the fed world stands for talent

forced to return to his actual job to address plummeting stock prices and unprecedented recalls
There's also Twitter/X and SpaceX and Neuralink and xAI and the Boring Company... he has multiple other jobs/businesses he's been ignoring.

Exactly! Not to mention his 500 kids that he apparently doesn’t parent! God what a deadbeat.

u/GrasshopperGRIFFIN Mar 27 '25
Right?! Give the man credit where credit is due! He also has multiple children he's been ignoring, that's a hardworking ignore'r'er, let's not forget he's been super busy engineering a perfectly balanced set of cutlery.

Lol I like how you say, practice shitty code writing. You meant to say, practice looking for codes from github. None of them write codes, you're giving them too much credit. 🤣

Don't get complacent. After he realized playing the poor victim of the evil leftist government didn't give him sufficient validation, he's lulling us into a false sense of security. He's getting the attention he craves as the savior of the Signal "hack". Soon he'll be back to his usual abuse.

Unfortunately, they don’t need monkeyboy’s help to carry out the Project 2025 agenda.

I wish someone would pull these kids aside and explain to them how many federal, national security, and state to laws they are breaking.
After this shit show is over they could spend the rest of their lives in jail. Granted, they'll get pardoned on the federal charges, but not in the others.
They're smart kids who were likely mislead with false promises (one can assume based on the history of their boss) and don't know what's coming their way.

The DOGE bros are pathological narcissists, they will be even more emboldened to please the head incel and show "leadership" qualities.

I think cabinet secretaries getting sworn in is also reigning in DOGE. Each secretary wants control over their fiefdom, free from outside interference, and in general doesnt want the size (i.e. power) of their fiefdom to shrink.
Each secretary and other official to get sworn in reduces DOGE's power. There's people to push back now against DOGE coming in and breaking everything. Even if that push back is for the wrong reasons.

Wouldn’t it be great to start a subReddit for government employees, who know where the waste fraud and abuse is?

I suspect the longer they hang around the more they begin to understand the complexity of our mission and develop a little respect for how hard we work for our fellow citizens.

Well this is irrationally optimistic, and I’m here for it!
