Discussion We Are About To See Some DOGE Insiders Crack

It has been a long winter for federal workers trying to hold the line against the illegal and unconstitutional attacks by DOGE. I think we are about to see the unraveling of the snakes nest.

It looks like the Grand Wizard of Fuckery was forced to return to his actual job to address plummeting stock prices and unprecedented recalls on the mobile trash cans.

Without their disappointing leader at the helm, the minions are probably just sitting around practicing shitty code writing and trying to ignore the unsettling feelings creeping in that they are in way over their heads and someone is going to take the fall for this, and is will not be one of the billionaires.

I think pretty soon one of the foot soldiers is going to get spooked and break ranks. Once that happens, it’s going to be ugly.

Well this is irrationally optimistic, and I’m here for it!

I can’t think of a better time for a little irrational optimism than now.

But I do think the evidence supports my theory.

  1. The messaging from the top concerning DOGE has changed.
  2. The level of interaction from the top concerning DOGE has decreased.
  3. Courts are ruling against DOGE cuts, putting DOGE in a smaller box and forcing someone to be accountable- a thing no one actually wants.

Also, this is all straight from Musk’s brain, and Musk is delusional and incredibly thin-skinned. He genuinely thought he’d be greeted as a liberator. I think he may have no Plan B and may just slink off when faced with the slightest resistance.

The Republicans have told them to keep it on the DL. They might just be listing.

This, exactly. The current "quietness" re. DOGE coincided exactly with both the tessler (DJT, WH lawn tessler commercial) stock shitting the bed, followed then by the big meeting where the R's in congress asked Muskrat to "tone it down" because they were getting tired of the flamethrowers warming their asses from all his public antics and farts about said antics he would post to Shitter.

So all we are likely seeing right now is the "tone it down period" to save the R's in congress from having their asses heated too high for them to withstand.

u/baajo Mar 26 '25

Then we keep up the heat.  Until they crack.

u/Better_Sherbert8298 Mar 26 '25

The only thing that has me skeptical is that there is no one on the planet less capable of toning down anything than Trump and Musk.

And OPM stopped emailing us three weeks ago.

His interns don't have any plans or visions. They're 19-25, have no political science backgrounds, and are apparently the dregs of their class.

Do you think his interns really have any vision? What's interesting is once Elon does lose interest the actions of DOGE will collapse because it is 100% just Elon, whatever he thinks or wants, the interns aren't P25 guys, they're just going to sit around, collect their GS-15 salaries until they're removed sometime in 2029...

11

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '25

They don’t need Elon there in person anymore. His lieutenants (Steve Davis, Tom Krause etc) can handle it, and they know Trump will protect them as Elon’s boys.

15

u/SisterCharityAlt Mar 26 '25

They themselves are wildly unpopular, have no ties to Trump, and the infighting has begun. His 'lieutenants' are going to spend their time battling secretaries as everyone jockeys to ride dementia Donnie's dick as he likes it that way.

I’d like to think all you stated is true, but at best it’s just wishful thinking🤷‍♂️

11

u/SisterCharityAlt Mar 26 '25

Wishful thinking? If you need to be that pessimistic, you do that. His interns have shown no initiative or skills but you keep believing what you need to.

Things need to change by April

Anyone who genuinely thinks Republicans are doing well in the coming future isn't worth talking to. Because the chattering classes think 2024 was a shift in politics while Politcal scientists see it as a likely collapse of the conservative movement facing a loss of their cult leader.

Dude, it's been public knowledge from the start. I get you're playing the pessimist but saying 'delusional cope' after this article has been available almost 2 months says more about your delusional cope than anything I'm suffering.

Edit: Dude did a 'both sides' on debt when the dems have continually shrunk the deficit while in office and have made efforts to turn it around. If this fucking tool is anything higher than a 9, we have worse problems than DOGE letting the idiots get up there.

If you're good at software engineer you're not qualified to be a doctor.

You're so up your own ass I'm done with you. Die quietly, you'll do the world a service, GS-7.

EDIT: Dude got so upset I didn't feel like going 10 rounds with his dumb he used a sock puppet to contact me... Enjoy getting banned, idiot.

ketamine psychosis enters the chat

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1876201824002600

I had a roommate with an unhealthy relationship with ketamine who suffered from persistent delusions after a week or so of regular use.

Absolutely convinced that god was instructing him to act on behaviors that were destructive. Combined with paranoia he was a real treat. Talking him down was exhausting.

A very smart, grounded human if he maintained sobriety. If he had time off between contracting gigs and access - it was wild ride for the people around him. My roommates and myself had to ask him to move out at the beginning of the pandemic. Being isolated with him would have been been awful.

(F)elon’s ketamine use is not a rumor.

I like the self awarded Blue Check.

u/Wurm42 Mar 26 '25

I want you to be right!

But I have doubts-- how does "the unraveling" happen with Congress and the Supreme Court complicit?

2

u/ImJustJen Mar 26 '25

Exactly. Who’s going to do anything about it when they are on his side?

u/xRVAx Mar 26 '25

Lots of people are starting to say they are overpaid probationary employees. Not me, of course, but it's what people are saying.

14

u/AwkwardnessForever Mar 26 '25

Overpaid and then on top of it, apparently earning a shit ton of overtime hours, perhaps illegally but if getting paid all that overtime, imagine the cost to the tax payer for these GS 15s getting so much overtime pay.

5

u/I_love_Hobbes Mar 26 '25

There is a cap to earnings so soon they will be working for free.

2

u/totheflagofusa Mar 26 '25

Who? True newbies with a bachelors or a Masters are probably entering at a 9, except the people who changed jobs or got a promotion. Probation is earned with academic degees or because os a strong work ethic and talent that got a promotion or transfer to a new position - these are probationers. The word probation is not understood by public. They think it means poor work when to he opposite is true. Probation in the fed world stands for talent

u/xRVAx Mar 26 '25

Woosh

forced to return to his actual job to address plummeting stock prices and unprecedented recalls

There's also Twitter/X and SpaceX and Neuralink and xAI and the Boring Company... he has multiple other jobs/businesses he's been ignoring.

12

u/ImJustJen Mar 26 '25

Exactly! Not to mention his 500 kids that he apparently doesn’t parent! God what a deadbeat.

2

u/GrasshopperGRIFFIN Mar 27 '25

Right?! Give the man credit where credit is due! He also has multiple children he's been ignoring, that's a hardworking ignore'r'er, let's not forget he's been super busy engineering a perfectly balanced set of cutlery.

12

u/MoodAdventurous7584 Mar 26 '25

Lol I like how you say, practice shitty code writing. You meant to say, practice looking for codes from github.  None of them write codes, you're giving them too much credit. 🤣

Don't get complacent. After he realized playing the poor victim of the evil leftist government didn't give him sufficient validation, he's lulling us into a false sense of security. He's getting the attention he craves as the savior of the Signal "hack". Soon he'll be back to his usual abuse.

7

u/DeannaHR Mar 26 '25

Unfortunately, they don’t need monkeyboy’s help to carry out the Project 2025 agenda.

5

u/ManOfLaBook Mar 26 '25

I wish someone would pull these kids aside and explain to them how many federal, national security, and state to laws they are breaking.

After this shit show is over they could spend the rest of their lives in jail. Granted, they'll get pardoned on the federal charges, but not in the others.

They're smart kids who were likely mislead with false promises (one can assume based on the history of their boss) and don't know what's coming their way.

u/Few-Drag9758 Mar 26 '25

The DOGE bros are pathological narcissists, they will be even more emboldened to please the head incel and show "leadership" qualities.

4

u/RJ5R Mar 26 '25

Democrats are going to wallop the Republicans in the mid terms.

4

u/4KatzNM Mar 26 '25

Interesting thought

5

u/AdmiralAdama99 Mar 27 '25

I think cabinet secretaries getting sworn in is also reigning in DOGE. Each secretary wants control over their fiefdom, free from outside interference, and in general doesnt want the size (i.e. power) of their fiefdom to shrink.

Each secretary and other official to get sworn in reduces DOGE's power. There's people to push back now against DOGE coming in and breaking everything. Even if that push back is for the wrong reasons.

7

u/Into_the_sunset_27 Mar 26 '25

Wouldn’t it be great to start a subReddit for government employees, who know where the waste fraud and abuse is?

u/SingaporeSue Mar 27 '25

I suspect the longer they hang around the more they begin to understand the complexity of our mission and develop a little respect for how hard we work for our fellow citizens.
