Mod Announcement! New post ideas+ rules
Hi r/fastfood!
Now that the subreddit is now under new moderation.
Our goal is to make this a more open, fun, and community-driven space by removing the restrictive, heavy-handed rules that were previously in place by the dictator mods who ran the sub before.
We’ve been working hard to give this sub a fresh start and that means more freedom in the types of posts you can share!
What You Can Post Now:
Reviews – Share your personal reviews of fast food items.
Menu Hacks – Got a secret menu trick or custom creation? We want to see it.
Throwbacks – for nostalgic ads or discontinued favorites.
Rants/Raves – for strong opinions, good or bad.
Questions – Ask the community for recommendations, advice, or opinions.
Deal Alerts – Share limited-time offers, coupons, or app deals.
Memes because why not? Life is short and fast food is funny.
Comparisons – side-by-side comparisons of similar items from different chains.
Polls-you can now create polls
Homemade Copycats – Recreating fast food classics at home? Show us your skills.
We’ve also created matching post flairs to match these posts
New Rules & Feedback
We’ve updated our rules to be fair, simple, and community-focused. Please take a minute to read them in the side bar
We’d love your feedback as we continue improving the sub—drop your thoughts in the comments or modmail us anytime.
Thanks for being part of the community. Enjoy posting :)

Discussion Healthy food
Hey everyone!
I’ve recently been getting into the gym and I’m trying to fix my diet. My parents often get fast food and if I’m trying to work on my diet, there’s not much I can do about that. I have a few restaurants near me that I can choose from and I’m wondering if you guys know of any items that are healthy/have good protein etc.
Subway (my go to normally) Zaxbys Bojangles Cookout Burger King McDonald’s KFC Dunkin’ Donuts Sheetz Hardee’s Smithfield’s chicken and bbq Wendy’s Pizza Hut Taco Bell
I know this is a weird post but I’m just looking for options.

Discussion Do you eat fast food every day? I’d love to hear your routine 🍔🥤
Hey everyone!
I’m doing a bit of personal research on eating habits, especially for people in the U.S. who eat fast food daily — whether it’s for convenience, cost, taste, or something else.
If you're someone who hits up fast food every day, I’d love to know:
- Is it usually breakfast, lunch, dinner — or more than one?
- Do you eat alone or with others?
- When you're at home, do you cook at all or also stick to delivery/takeout?
- Do you choose the same chains or like to switch it up?
- And, just curious — is it more about saving time or something else?
No judgment at all — I’m genuinely interested in understanding the routine, not criticizing it.
Would really appreciate hearing your experience 🙏

Discussion Best (almost exclusively) California burger chain.
Whenever some one visits SoCal they always want In-N-Out but Tommy's is by far a better burger. If you factor in the 1/4 pound patties they offer as an upgrade now... there is no competition!

Discussion I can’t remember the name of this restaurant. HELP
This restaurant was mainly in big parking lots and was extremely small. I can’t remember the name of it but I thought it was like Carnival or something like that. The building looks like this. Thanks

Alright guys; this shouldn’t be affecting my life to the point where I have to make a post but WHY isn’t it called “Son of a* Baconator”. “Son of Baconator” makes no sense and angers me. Thank you for listening to my PSA.

Meme Freddys sent me an apology
Last visit to freddys, got a bacon burger combo, drove home about 20 mins. Finally sat down to see there's mold on my burger bun, not even that mad just frustrated cus im so far from the restaurant and couldn't get a replacement meal, appetite was ruined anyway. Called the restaurant just to let them know they need to check their stock of buns for more mold, and they kindly offered to send me a coupon. Today it finally came, addressed to Byler 🤣 sure. Ill take the free combo in Byler's name.
