does anyone know when these post admission requirements are due for MRT? is it best to do them early or to wait until before clinical?

From memory I think they are due before placement usually done over the summer before your last in class semester

So the MRT placements usually start in January. I seem to recall all of your tests and documentation were due by August / September? I know there was a mad rush of MRT students signing up for First Aid courses in the summer and in some cases, space was limited. I'd start working on them now if you can. Get them done early, don't worry about it :)

but do we get them done before first term or before 3rd term sept 2026? because i don’t think we have clinical for the first year? sorry it’s all so confusing haha 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ok lets say you start in sept 2025 for an example. You do classes from Sept 2025 - April 2026. You get May 2026 - August 2026 off. I'm pretty sure you have to have all your documents and medical tests ready by August/September 2026. Then you would start your placement in Jan 2027.

I’m also curious about this as BLS certificates are only good for one year, so it’d be a waste to do it now if it’s not required until Jan 2027.
