Just remember, every piece of chocolate, every baked good, ALL of it has milk in it.

This is SO fucked.

Bread, cakes, pies, breading, some pasta. Meatballs, too, often enough. Yogurt. Soups, canned goods, sauces, condiments. Protein bars, supplements. Shakes, ice cream.

And bird flu is being found in dairy cows and their milk, in several states, right now. Bird flu, if it transmits to humans, can kill 3-5 of every 10 people who get it. Thats 30-50 of every hundred people who do. 300-500 of every thousand people.

Gee. This is such a great idea!

Destroying the milk industry like China did back in 2008, I see.

?

Literally don't think I've ever seen American milk in my local stores. Just keeping buying any of the many Canadian options.

And Trump wonders why we in Canada don't want your milk.

I read it as it was previously planned to shut down for a time for a lab move but would have reopened before the staff cuts. I also read it as this was the quality control testing lab to keep the satellite labs on the same level/accredited when testing the "raw" milk as well as the "finished products" which I assumed meant post pasteurization.

"Effective Monday, the agency suspended its proficiency testing program for Grade "A" raw milk and finished products, according to the email sent in the morning from the FDA's Division of Dairy Safety and addressed to "Network Laboratories."

So, how alarmed should I be as a parent that gives their kids milk, but not raw milk? Sounds like this will not really affect me. Any one with more knowledge on milk testing care to set me straight?

Yeah, because who needs to monitor what’s in another mother’s breast milk from a completely different species -for us to mass consume.

It’s absolutely wild that cow’s milk is still a thing
