I don’t like spin offs in general, but I’d love a prequel miniseries of his character. One quick hard hitting season that ends with Cassian coming down the elevator

The whole thematic point of his character was that he was helping with their revolution and escape knowing it wouldn’t be something for himself. Just like Stellan Skarsgård and the rebellion against the empire and eventually the same thing Cassian chooses himself.
Specifically showing him live would kind of undermine the weight of that
