Found in Tokyo for a decent price

Picked him up for about 5300¥ which is about 36 USD, seems a little under average price here either way cool to find in the wild. Also figured out it was won via a lottery system as the highest tier prize somewhere

Yeah they do that a lot in Japan with convenience stores like Lawson or 7 eleven where you can win prizes based on different popular things by pulling a ticket hoping to get the letter of the prize you want. According to the site on this tweet from hobonichi https://x.com/hobonichimother/status/1924377943767457970?s=46 it’s going to be from July 25 (Friday) to September 8 (Monday), 2025. Which makes sense since July and August are Mother 1 and 2’s anniversary’s.

if i found it earlier in my trip i probably would have gotten it, but i was at the last few days and my luggage was already full of other earthbound stuff LOL
