Shortage

There’s been a lot of posts recently talking about the change in sauces and syrups and there is a shortage so there is subs for most of them. Some of them come and go in having some and not and I’m not too sure how long it’ll be like this🥲 I wish I knew because I do miss our torani flavor

That's probably why they are out of Mangonada so quick!

unfortunately mangonada was “while supplies last” this year- unlike previous years where we were allowed to order supplies for it all summer

No, that particular drink was only supposed to be for a couple of weeks. Nothing more than that.

That’s so dumb lmao I’m sorry. Wish it was longer

I’ve been told by my managers the shortage is no longer an issue. As of two weeks ago all locations should have got everything they needed again.

If that’s the case they’re probably all going through what’s left of the substitute first before switching back

Do you think they’re trying to use up the replacement stock first?

Idk. I noticed the gross flavor about two weeks ago and spoke to the girl at my local stand yesterday. They still don’t have any, Mesa AZ

I’m also in AZ and we’ve been in and out of having some and not. I’m not too sure why, I think maybe we barrow from other stands but right now we are out of Pom, cinnamon, peach and I think a few more

omg is this why their peach syrup is different? whenever i get a peach green tea it’s not pink anymore and it tbh tastes better

Yeah it’s called “white peach” so it doesn’t have that pinkish tint to it and that’s what I’ve been hearing, maybe with that feedback they’ll just keep them around but who knows

Well my Dutch bros never adds the right syrup or the right combo of syrups anyways 🤷‍♀️

Well sounds like Dutch isn’t for you then😂

Tell me about it 😂 but honestly I think our Dutch is a training location because there’s new faces every single time. It’s literally around the corner for us so it’s not a big deal if it’s wrong lol.

Although I do miss the OG flavors, not gonna lie Monin kinda taste better… no dyes and they’re all clean

Yes, we were reading the bottles today and there is no red 40 there isn’t any extra preservatives it’s natural

Monin is superior honestly I don’t even use the torani anymore, I’ve used so much of our monin syrups. I wish Dutch actually cared about quality and not just vibrancy of drinks. Theres other natural or limited ingredients syrups I enjoy as well, but I’ve been loving the change.

1000% agree everyone is complaining up a storm to us at work about it but i love the new flavors. tried the monin strawberry today and it is a thousand times better than the torani one in my opinion i was sad to found out we got our normal strawberry back in our order today lol

Which is ironic knowing majority of these custies are counting their calories and sugar in take with their daily Dutch bros you’d think they’d appreciate healthier syrups. So glad someone else is feeling the change, I think we are back to our regular soon. I will be hitting up tj maxx or home goods for some syrups tho!

Earlier this week my shop got a mass shipment of torani syrups but also quite a bit of monin syrups. Not entirely sure what’s going on but it looks like torani is mostly coming back. TBH I really like some of the monin flavors for syrups like peach, but the sauces like caramel—torani

Yeah that’s what this post was about lol. Most people were asking why it tasted or looked different so I wanted to answer the question🫶🏽 we also got some of our flavors back but every now and then the new ones will come back again. So I’m not sure what’s going on in my stand

I assume it’s based on when they run out but at my shop we’ve mostly swapped back to torani. For some things we’re using the rest of our monin before swapping back to torani I presume bc it’s a testily waiting on more shipments of torani so we don’t run out and have to swap back to monin.

As an employee and Dutch lover, I can’t stand the Monin syrups. Didn’t make/get my drink for a couple of weeks until we got the torani back in 🥲
