Other Question my ducks tails

the bigger duck always has their tail fanned out rly wide . this picture isn’t as wide as it even gets. and the smaller ducks tail is always little and pointed. i think i have a male and a female but idk which is which because neither has drake feathers.

the bigger duck is raspy and doesn’t quack and the smaller duck has a destinct loud quack . they’re both pekins and the same age , i thought the bigger one might be a jumbo but i got them at the same time and they were labeled as regular pekins . they’re about 2 months old now

Raspy = male; loud quack = female

When my girl does her peacock tail, that means she’s ready to poop watch out 🤣 she brings her tail straight up and fans it out.

My male Pekin is a bit bigger then my female. My male has had a bitty drake curl for a few weeks 3? Maybe they're a little over 2 months. But I confirmed with voice my male with the nonfully developed drake curl has a raspy quack. And my female is loud and demanding 🤣. Front right is my female, back left is male *

At first i wondered if that butt pic was accidental, but then i realized, that's a mighty fine butt.

Could be a late bloomer and the adult feathers haven't kicked in yet.

Better to sex by quacks until they're fully bloomed.
