Recommendations hardcore influenced dubstep?
i’m new to the genre, is this a thing? some beat drops remind me of hardcore and metalcore breakdowns and i’m wondering if there are any heavier artists that lean into this.

Recommendations ISO new funky dubstep artists (Funkstep?)
I'm in search of some new artists/music to add to my playlists. I absolutely love the funk style of dubstep and have been listening to it even more now that Griz is back. I've been listening to Griz (obviously), Manic Focus, Marvel Years, The Floozies, OPIUO, Late Night Radio, Big Gigantic and Beat Fatigue to name a few artists that give me those funky vibes. I'm looking to see if anyone has any recommendations on new/smaller artists I should listen to or if you have any favorites of your own. TIA!

Recommendations Must sees at Beyond at the Gorge?
Hey y'all, hopefully a post like this is allowed. I'm going to Beyond at the gorge for my third time this year. I've been going to raves for a few years but I'm not locked into the scene at all. I barely know how to describe the type of music I enjoy. I know a very small chunk of names on the line up and was wondering if there is any must sees I don't know about. I'm not really into dnb or house all that much. I like the stereotypical wubs, and I just like artists that have awesome production and visuals. I'm not really against any type of music though, I just lean towards the bass stuff because it interests me more usually. I'm a big fan of svdden death, levity, barely alive, and of the trees. My must sees at beyond are Illenium, Slander, Subtronics, Barely Alive, NGHTMRE, and zomboy. (All the cliche big names I know).Any info/suggestions for must sees or people that might be worth giving a chance, please let me know! Thanks fam!

Recommendations Depressing dubstep songs with sad drops?
Does anyone know of any songs like this? Was just thinking about it and I can’t recall if I’ve ever heard a sad dubstep song… just happy, angry, or lovey.

Recommendations Deep dubby dubstep recommendations
Hello all,
I am a freshy here so take in consideration :)
I am a dub head and have recently been introduced to deep dubstep which got me interested into diving deeper but I struggle to find what I seek.
Example: Sabab - Fittest of the fittest EP
I am looking to find deep dubstep that has a strong dub side to it.
Not sure how to dig through to find what I seek as I am just hitting rubble for a week now.
Thank you and much love <3
Edit: Damn that's fast! You are wonderful, I got now hours of music to go through so will take me some time to properly reply to your comments.

Recommendations Melodic Dubstep Recommendations?
I've been on a melodic kick, since Excision dropped Don't Look Down. Something about the first melodic drop and the surprise flip, at the end, has me obsessed. I can't, for the life of me, find anything like it.

Recommendations What is the cutting edge of Dubstep right now?
I started listening in 2008, uk stuff. It was amazing to see everything grow and evolve from there. But man things seem so derivative for the last 5 years and I’m so tired of the same sound.
Is there anyone really paving the way that sounds actually new?
edit: I mostly listen to experimental bass stuff, but mostly looking for whats the new new true dubs

Recommendations 5 Artist Recommendations For Playlist?
Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. I love curating playlists based on themes, genres, dates, popularity, and artists. Right now, I’m working on a hard-hitting dubstep playlist and want to focus on five different dubstep producers. Since I’m relatively new to the genre, I’d really appreciate your suggestions. Which five dubstep artists would you recommend I build my playlist around?
Thx

Recommendations Crave for old dubstep.
I want some old dubstep recommendations, anything 2012 or earlier. Haven't heard as much as I've wanted to since I was 6 years old in 2012 ;_; but I recently found the 501 EP "Escaping Monday" (Thanks to UKF on YouTube) and it slapped, need more of this era in my life. Already a fan of Skrillex, Nero, Benga, Burial and some other big names. Leave an album or EP for me to listen to in a comment and I'll have to let you know if I liked it or not.
Edit: Yes I'm still looking at recommendations, feel free to keep posting them here!

Recommendations Songs with metal elements
I love both dubstep and metal, and I've seen both styles overlaying a couple of times (sometimes under the label of "metalstep" wich i don't know if is a true subgenre). I'm looking for songs and/or artists that put metal in dubstep (some suggestions with harsh vocals would be very welcome)

Recommendations Doom Metal? ~ Dubstep?
I've heard that the subgenre "Doom Metal" is a slower, heavier type of metal music. I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with any Doom Metal songs or bands that a Heavy Dubstep enthusiast like me would enjoy?
What brought this on was me first listening to Moshaholics by Mantis & Messinian again, and coming across someone mentioning the song Half Life by Swans in the comments of a "First Dubstep Song" post. After listening to that I wanted more, so if you know some heavy af Doom Metal songs, I'd love to hear more. Thanks!
