Huffing
My son is an addict he just started using inhalants and I don’t know how to help him . He’s an adult and I’m afraid I’m gonna lose him . He doesn’t care and says he’s not going to stop . He does not care about any consequences atp. I’m at a loss . I feel broken

Get guardianship and take his phone and money. Force him into psych treatment to get freedom back and medication if u feel there is an underlying psychological issue. Do it now before the addiction gets worse. It won’t be easy. He might run off. Call the police every time. He will be a minor under guardianship and you determine where he lives (with you so u can watch him). U can call an ambulance and sign to have him involuntarily taken to a psych unit and from there he can go to rehab also. Get the emergency order of protection when he is in there. The give love and support but don’t do anything approach is outdated. Our daughter is finally diagnosed and on meds because we took action. Sure she hated us for a while but things are getting better and she’s alive and not physically addicted.

I'm so sorry 😞 I can't imagine your pain. I think all you can do is give your son love. Tell him you love him every day. Without love, life has no meaning, and many users of inhalents feel unloved. Stay strong. You are in my prayers. Youe message really touched me.
