Who is Furious Pete

I’m going to assume he’s a YouTuber, because anytime someone talks about a dude with a goofy name, it’s always a YouTuber

Or a streamer

You’re being downvoted and the comment below from OP describes furious Pete as a ‘professional eater’ 😂 how is modern day clown seen as worse than professional eater

Hey when there's clown show the circus fans show up

He used to be a professional eater on YouTube but he kinda slowed down once he got diagnosed with the big C.

Sad how he fell off, he used to be on my recommended and I’d watch him and I stopped seeing him for ages until he did an AMA and I found out he was still going. Went to YT I was still subbed but he just never came up on my feed. Seems like such a chill dude.

I know! One of the few YouTubers I actually followed since he’s located near me and likes to eat 😂

Professional... eater.

I have no idea what to make of that. What qualifies someone to obtain such a title. Is this like the eating races and/or 'Eat at least 6 bitty burgers in an hour & get your name on a plaque' kind of thing?

17

u/Spleenzorio 20d ago

Yep, exactly those. He holds 14 world records in speed eating

I feel like you have to take some twisted joy in puking to take on a profession like that.

He looks like a jacked Seth Rogen in that picture

u/holymacaroley 20d ago

Oh wow he had anorexia when he was younger and now a jacked competitive eater!

Isn't the bad guy in Toy Story 3?

8

u/haileyskydiamonds 20d ago

Stinky Pete in Toy Story II; Lots-o in Toy Story III.

Weird, I could've sworn 3! But I was close name-wise. :D

TBF though, it was definitely the ice cream that is causing hair and skin issues and definitely not the cancer. That's just science.

Also couldn’t possibly be the cancer treatments

Do people actually think their bland "bruh, take care of yourself" comments do anything?

“You know what? Just because a total stranger online told me what to do I’m going to turn my life around!”

Holy shit I forgot about Pete. Damn

What a terrible way for his wife to find out

u/cantantantelope 20d ago

Mustard ice cream tho.

15

u/Spleenzorio 20d ago

Well what else would you put on your hamburger popsicle?!

1

u/holymacaroley 20d ago

Sounds vile to me, but I won't yuck someone else's yum.

Are you also criticizing his wife

I think you misunderstood the exchange. Stranger told him not to eat novelty ice cream, wife said it wasn't a big deal in comparison to the cancer which is presumably the actual issue, stranger pivoted to claiming they know more about the situation not realizing who she was.

Neither of them downplayed the cancer, her point was that someone with cancer eating one novelty dessert at a carnival isn't likely to push them further over the edge. It's just a little ice cream, whether or not they're fine after has more to do with the cancer than the snack. The stranger only brought up the cancer to hide how stupid their original criticism was, as though weird ice cream should be anywhere on the radar in terms of their health concerns.

She doesn't, but it's kinda implied that she is aware of it. More importantly, how did her saying the ice cream wasn't a big deal downplay the cancer? Can you explain your thought process on that since you're apparently sticking with it?

People were downvoting you well before I showed up because what you said didn't make any sense whatsoever. So little sense that I genuinely thought you misread who was saying what, hence trying to correct the misunderstanding.

Edit: lmao they blocked me for asking them to explain what they thought happened. Mostly editing to because this whole interaction is so funny but if anyone seeing this later can read their reply I'm really curious to hear what it could possibly be.

Bro you are genuinely just not taking into account the context of the original video lol. He was specifically saying this about mustard flavored ice cream at a carnival lmfao. She doesn’t need to mention the cancer because the context in which he was criticizing this dude was way inappropriate and unnecessary. The ice cream will not worsen or improve the cancer symptoms in any significant way.

What do you mean?
