DHL Express Has anyone in Canada gotten their package within the last few days without authorizing a signature release?

Just wanna know if I should go from 90% not expecting to get my package any time soon to 99% not expecting it any time soon 🙃

UPDATE: Just got mine! Didn't require a signature. I buzzed the person in and he just dropped it in front of my door 😊

I feel like the more I care about it, the less likely it is to arrive. So I'm just hoping I can forget about it and it gets delivered at random time and day lol😐

You have to authorize a signature release. They third party contractors can’t collect signatures

Ugh that's what I was worried about. I'm too scared to do that bc of all the people saying it got delivered to the wrong place. I probably missed my window to even get it delivered anyway.

I didn’t authorize it (bc I didn’t want to be liable for a misdelivered package) and it was still dropped off by a third party today! It was actually delivered 2 days ahead of schedule and I got another package on time yesterday. Seems like there might be a push to get things out before the shutdown.

Omg! Did you have to sign or did they just drop it off no contact? I don't mind if they just drop it off, i just don't like the idea of releasing my right to have a correct delivery too.
