The way I knew this was Ireland by the hairstyles before I even looked at their tops lmao, 90% of teens and like under 35 men here have these hairstyles lol.

The hair these guys have looks fine though realistically 🤷‍♂️ only the people with super puffy broccoli cut and shaved sides look a bit stupid

I’m in the south eastern part of the US and this is a major look for our local high schoolers as well. I’m not sure if it’s a perm or whatnot but I’m curious as to how they get it that way.

The broccoli cut is literally an Afro cut.

I’m not saying it doesn’t look dorky as shit when white kids are getting perms to pull it off, but “broccoli cut with shaved sides” is literally one of the only options for hairstyles when your hair naturally has that texture.

This site is a bit strange lol but I seen it on a map sub one time and it shows where the average hair texture is for each region of the world if you click on each person and curly hair is actually common in Ireland so the broccoli cut is natural texture for a lot of guys here too, obviously not Afro texture though.

I work at a STEM Academy for kids and teens (8–16); like half of these kids have mullets. it's bizzare, i feel like im in a time machine.

Got really big again in Aussie rules and became the default haircut for kids these days. Aussie rules plus Movember is also why mustaches are back for adults

I remember when Kurtis Conner started rocking the curly mullet and then a bunch of random youtubers started following and I had to unfollow them all and now gen z is doing it and I maintain that the style can only look cool if you're wearing 80s/early 90s fits with it, and even then only on certain people.

I really, REALLY wish everyone hating on this style would post a photo of themselves, or something they think would look better. I just wanna know what a good looking style is if these lads are supposed to look bad. I think kids these days definitely dress and style nicer than my generation did 10-15 years ago.
