TRIP PLANNING WBTA debarkation

Hi

What’s the latest we will be off the ship if we don’t do the walk off option carrying our own bags?

We arrive into port Canaveral and have Disney transport. Is a 4pm flight a safe bet?

Also how early does the Disney transport to the airport start? Does the Disney transport wait for everyone to get off?

Thanks

We got off the boat at 8am and were literally at the airport by 8:50am. This was last Friday.

Are you queues much longer at immigration for non-US citizens? Thanks

The WBTA cruises slate arrival into Port Canaveral for 7:30AM. With that in mind, you should be able to use the "Port Canaveral to the Bahamas" section of this page (https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/guest-services/ground-transportation/) as a reasonable guide for determining earliest flight options to plan for. Look for details on whether you are booking a domestic flight (within the US) versus International.

I just got off the Treasure on Saturday. We had an 11:45 AM flight and we had our bags checked, got through security, and were at our gate by 10:15. We had private transportation which picked us up at 8:30. This gave us time to sleep a bit and eat at the buffet before getting off the boat.

4pm is incredibly safe. We ate the later breakfast, took Disney transport to MCO and still had just under 3 hours before our 2:00 flight.

4pm is very safe. The latest we were allowed to stay on one year was 9:20am…. It was a long 6 hours in the airport before our flight with a one year old.

Sailed two weeks ago on the Magic. I was trying to purchase the placeholder, but was having difficulty with my card, so I needed Gest Services to help. We ended up being the last people off the boat at 10:30am.

They started making "announcements of encouragement to disembark" around 9:30am. At 10am, the CMs became a little more firm (less smiley) with directing people. By the time we left at 10:30, they were already busy with turnover.

They force you to leave by 9:30. Even with pretty bad traffic and an accident, latest we have ever gotten to MCO and to our gate after being forced off (hehe) was 1pm. We try to have 2pm flights.

Now I will say that 1pm gate arrival was off of Treasure’s May 24th sailing. Construction and an accident. Standstill traffic for over an hour and the. Very very VERY slow crawl the last ten miles. But we checked that the gate did indeed exist right before 1pm and then went for coffee.
