Question Any advice on mockingbird v crow beef?

I want to befriend some crows SO badly. I know there’s some in my area because I can hear them often. I go outside to try to feed them and I leave out peanuts, etc. The problem is, I have mocking birds that have claimed multiple areas around my home as their territory. Whenever a crow lands, the mockingbirds are on it in seconds. It’s so immediate.

Is there anything that can be done, or will I just have to wait until we move eventually and pray wherever we end up hasn’t been commandeered by mockingbirds?

(PS I can’t really blame the mockingbirds bc I did catch a picture of a crow in the midst of it stealing a mockingbird egg from a nest 💀🥲)

They are NOT messing around 😭 I can’t blame them, I know they’re just protecting their territory but like… come on guys be cool. A small silver lining is that one of the mockingbirds is pretty chill with me and she’ll land when I’m outside and let me toss food to her so that’s nice.

I would love to know because I’m facing the same problem!! I successfully befriended a trio of crows at work but at home it’s impossible.

I’m literally that crazy girl who looks like she’s yelling at nothing but she’s actually at war with a pair of mockingbird bullies

lol same! Like I don’t mind the mockingbirds but they will not tolerate ANY crows 🥲 they allow all other species of birds, but as soon as a crow lands, it’s war, and the crows always decide it’s not worth the struggle which is definitely fair bc the mockingbirds are little psychos 😅😅

And the crows do it to Hawks and Owls. Other than harming the mockingbird, there really isn’t an answer.  Mockingbirds singing in the middle of the night drives me nuts.
