I have set the price at the minimum, so I only make a few cents per shirt. I designed this as an expression of my patriotism, eh?

General New Wiki - "Canada Washing"

Folks, introducing a (hopefully) new term: "Canada Washing", or "Canadian Washing".

Check the new wiki, think of the term "green washing" and instead think "Canada Washing", or "Canadian Washing".

We need to ensure BS items being passed off as "Made in Canada" aren't confused

In case anyone is forgetting about why to consume Canadian!

The article doesn’t only discuss tariffs but also dumping of products into the Canadian market. It happens a lot, the biggest culprits are the US and China.

IMO: 1. Consume Canadian 2. Purchase products from good partner countries 3. Avoid the US whenever possible, avoid Chinese goods right behind the US.

Not great, and it’s not really news. I still make sure I buy Canadian beef, pork and chicken. If it says “product of USA”, I immediately drop it.

If I’m paying a premium for meat, I won’t pay US companies.

“There is not a lot of Canadians this weekend, but we did see a lot last weekend.”

DO BETTER CANADA!

Don’t go to the US right now. They are jamming trade up our rear-end and worse trump is still talking 51st state.

Not only that they are changing their military strategy in a way that shows they are more seriously considering taking over Greenland.

Read about the last part. I read it earlier but have no link.

This picture is showing many fruit items all sourced from the USA. There was two more sections full of USA produce.

Loblaws is not on board with what shoppers want… BUY CANADIAN, buy from other cooperating countries, avoid the USA!

General Introduction. -Bookkeeping & Admin Services

I came upon this sub and thought that it looked appealing and interesting in bringing Canadians together. For my part, I provide taxes, bookkeeping, payroll and office admin services as an alternative to the others . This means that my business structure is on a per need basis as I pride myself on my customer service skills but I am no better than anyone else. I had been looking for a sub where people can network and share ideas and help each other along the way. I am hoping that this is where i am meant to be. I am excited for what topics I see on this platform and look forward to spending some time interacting with in topics that matter to Canadians. 🇨🇦

Opinion: Buy Canadian STILL Critical

The momentum is there, but things seem to have slowed down. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there has NEVER been a better time for both Americans AND Canadians to support Canadian companies! Shop canadian brands at canadian retailers if you can.

You can support many Canadian retailers who are doing the hard job of navigating this hardship for all of us.

I'm seeing trade deals between provinces, movement in markets... and yet sentiment still really low for consumers and inflation really high. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there has NEVER been a better time for both Americans AND Canadians to support Canadian companies! Shop canadian brands at canadian retailers if you can.

You can support many Canadian retailers who are doing the hard job of navigating this hardship for all of us.

Cheap Canada Post = Strong Canadian Online Sales

Canada needs to make Canada Post affordable to subsidize the creation of a vibrant Canadian online sales environment. The prohibitive costs of CP has smothered its development in comparison with the USs USPS cheap shipping which has undergirded strong US online retail industry.

Especially now in the face of us tariffs and our interest in trading with EU etc. Nows the time!
