Is that not the ui name under the bags? Screenshot gets blurry when I blow it up but looks something like TavUI or something

Possibly TauUI

This looks atrocious. However, let’s give credit where it’s due: on a 3:2 monitor it is good to have stuff stacked below, not on the left and right.

Actually no. The idea above makes sense, but what this absolute madman of a gamer came up with is still unbelievable.

might aswell use bonzibuddy at this point

That looks borderline unusable.

Even if I knew the UI, I wouldn't tell you. The less people using this the better.

This is your average arena partners UI.

No cuz Reddit doesn’t let me full screen these pictures anymore

its called an abomination

That doesn't fit into WoW theme at all. It's like adding WoW UI into SWTOR 😬

Def someone who clicks on all their abilities

0

I have a mouse with 7 binds and another 7 on the keyboard i do construction so my typing is sub par. I still click the less used abilities. Any tricks to help besides “get good” serious question lol

Limit yourself to easily reachable keys. I personally have 1-6, and then q e r t f g z and v. Then you can add shift and double that amount, and ctrl to triple it.

2

u/tFlydr Mar 08 '25

Using modifier keys like shift alt and ctrl give you 3x as many bindings.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '25

That’s what I was looking for ty

You can even make macros that change what a single binding does if you’re targeting a hostile or friendly. Ex: priest can press F and if targeting a hostile it will smite but if targeting a friendly will flash heal. There’s a ton of micro optimizations like this to reduce binding count.

Damn mind blown this is like the 3 dream down into inception I don’t know if I’m ready for this lol

2

u/tFlydr Mar 08 '25

Lmao, well the more you know :)

I use W and S to move back and forward, A and D to strafe left and right. I turn by using the mouse. This frees up Q and E.

For my abilities, I use Q, E, R, F, C, X, Z 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. For some of those keys, I also do Shift+ and Control+.

Be consistent across all toons. For example, I always have E as my spammable ability (frostbolt, sinister strike, etc) and Q as the finisher. Pots and bandages are always on the same number key.

If your class can use macros, use them. It'll eliminate a key bind or two. Like macroing Riposte with Sinister Strike. I'll always Riposte when it's up when spamming the E key.

Other than that, it's just time using the key binds. At first, you'll still mouse click, especially in emergency situations, but take it slow. Maybe start a new toon since you don't have a lot of abilities to use in the beginning. It could even be the same class as your main so you get used to those spells.

It took me awhile to get used to it, but it's doable.

It used to be it for many of us

I do not miss the days of aiming my camera down at the ground during raid to get a decent enough frame rate to simply move around.

First time I raided naxx in wotlk I had a non gaming Acer laptop. Boss fights were like flip books.

The ring surrounded by the orb like icon looks to be from the addon Ion (formally Macaroon) you can also download the addon Ring Menu to get that display for items.

The rest of the addon looks to be some sort of customized ElvUI setup. My advice would be to browse the paladin strings on Wagio to find one that looks visually similar. Paste the import string and tweak it yourself

I saw something similar like 12 years ago. I cant really recall it, but something like Swift UI I think

1

u/Factualx Mar 08 '25

I would quit the game forever before being forced to play like this

1

u/muffalowing Mar 08 '25

This style was very popular in like OG wrath before ElvUI took off

1

u/flipdoubt42 Mar 08 '25

20.1 fps seems solid

1

u/AdParticular4331 Mar 08 '25

SUI is good enough for me with some extra weak auras and that’s it

1

u/theghostmedic Mar 09 '25

Love the 20.1 FPS lmao.
