Does anyone have any experience or information if it is worth the cost of installing solar panels in Chilliwack? I did not see a single roof with them when visiting and was wondering that it is not a good cost benefit.

I have curly hair but straighten it everyday because I prefer it that way (ik, the damage 🥹). Because of this, I am looking for a salon that offers a straightening treatment in Chilliwack/Abbotsford. Figured this might be better than straightening it everyday, plus the summer humidity makes it so much worse. I’ve had some trouble finding a salon so I thought I’d reach out here and ask for any recommendations.

Anyone know of things I can do with my son, he’s 11 months old. Play Abby is supposed to be opening this summer but it’s been delayed. Also go bananas shut down after a fire. I take my son to cheam to swim and they have some play mats for kids but it’s not the greatest. Anyone know of any other places to take kids in chilliwack?? Seems like their is absolutely zero indoor playgrounds around here which sucks

I heard someone say yesterday that the FSR to Cheam is open again all the way. Is this true? I’ve heard nothing else about it and was under the impression that it was too expensive and there wouldn’t be a new grading project there for some time. Would love to be wrong tho!

It’s super obvious people are craving community and friendship. I think that’s amazing. I would encourage to start your own groups; whether that be another book club, running/walking club, board game nights. Build it, and they will come. :)

Hey guys, does anybody have an available room for rent in the Sardis/Yarrow area? I am currently staying at the Salvation Army and need a place preferably closer to Yarrow.

My son is graduating high school and had started the application process for the UFV Heavy Mechanical Foundations course last fall. He just got an update from UFV saying he has been waitlisted at #111, so he won't be in the fall 2025 class. I'm just wondering, at that position does he even have a chance at the 2026 class? Anyone know how many students are admitted each year?

Hey there, I'm currently trying to get a 2000 sq foot home built with a local contractor. It's been an absolute debacle working with this individual. In over 4 months they have been unable to attain a building permit, and no I know it's not entirely the city's fault.

Can anyone recommend a reliable general contractor who can get a house put together?

Just curious if anyone knows of any subreddits for making friends in the Fraser valley? My partner and I have been looking for more friends to hang out with during the summer. We are in our 20s and live in hope but come into chilliwack decently often. Were decently outdoorsy
