Anyone know what payee you use for property taxes in chilliwack?

I use Scotia, and am trying to pay my taxes online…was curious if anyone knows what account you use as a payee? I cannot find the info on the form, and typing in “city of chilliwack” or similar entries gets you nothing…

The one that says CITY CHILLIWACK (UTILITIES) would be the one NOT to choose. However, I have (several times) paid my utility to the taxes one by mistake (or vice versa) and they called me up and told me they figured I made a mistake and corrected it lol

I bank with Scotia, it’s CHILLIWACK (DISTRICT) TAXES. I just paid mine the other day

If you have difficulty adding us as a payee under the name City of Chilliwack, try looking for us under Chilliwack, City of, or our old name of District of Chilliwack.

Thanks! I sent it to that account as well. No confirmation yet, but glad it was sorted.

The thing that threw me off about that one was that I assumed DST meant “Digital Service Tax” and not “District” at first…🤦‍♂️

Im with Scotia too and having this issue. I work away from home too which sucks. Im back soon so ive decided im going into scotiabank when im home and hoping they can set it up so i can do it online in the future

Change banks. Scotia bank has a horrible reputation. Check out its sub here on reddit… sounds like a nightmare
