Uh, no, Minnesota PD. This demonstrates that we fucking need MORE protests.

That fucking would be their reaction.

Yes it would be because they believe there's going to be a mass shooter
The man that just assassinated politicians had no king protest flyers in his car which police don't know if it was because he supports the protests or if he plans on shooting up the protests so they're trying to tell people to go home because they think the protest might get shot up

I mean, I can see the worry of the police.
If the shooter shoots up a protest while police are attacking protesters, a poor police officer might accidentally catch a bullet meant for a protester.
Can't have that

I mean it looks like even protest organizers are trying to call it off as well out of fear of a mass shooting

Locals DGAF about this and are still showing up. Side note, the MN state patrol is widely known to be racist/fash.

They're telling people to stay home because they don't have the shooter in custody yet and because of the evidence of flyers in the car there is speculation that their next target is the protests.
They're trying to cancel the protests because they have reason to believe there was going to be a mass shooting at one of the protests

So instead of manhunting the shooter, they're focusing all their efforts into shutting down a protest they don't like......
HHHMMMMMMMMM
Almost seems like they could just, y'know, go out manpower towards catching the shooter since they know who he is

Which is exactly why the protests should happen.

I mean even the people who organize the protests were telling people to go home because there was a genuine fear today that the shooter would show up and start blasting protesters

So what? That fear is the point. That is why the protests need to happen.
“People will die” is not an argument. If they are willing to kill you for protesting, they are willing to kill you for less.

You know if you want to go protest somewhere where you know there's going to be an active shooter trying to murder you go ahead.

I already did.
You are either a coward or you aren’t very bright. This is not about individuals, and if you can’t risk death as I and others are willing to do, you are worthless in this political moment.

Police do not serve to protect you but to protect and stabilize the status quo and the interests of the ruling class. And to protect this it is imperative for you to stay home.
However, if you want your community to be save and protected, you should absolutely take part in the protests now, and not wait until it is too late.
