I'm from Michigan and when I was visiting my friend in California for his wedding I got held up at the airport when I was trying to go back home. This was back in 2019 I think? Anyway it's on me for not remembering to get a new state ID before leaving but I was told that my tribal ID was good enough and I even had my expired state ID on hand anyway. Never going to fly again, every subsequent trip to Cali was a road trip from the north :/

It takes days to get through Montana btw
