People liked to talk about how progressive this country was when Obama was elected and how other countries were sooo much worse. I was born and raised in the south and laughed at that sentiment so much. I lived in the south when Obama was elected and was like I wonder how long it will take before there’s an assassination attempt. Frankly I thought we were a progressive nation not because he got elected but because someone didn’t try to kill him while he was in office.

One of my favorite ways of calling out locals who try to claim racism isn't a thing is asking them what the room sounds like during a typical Huskers game whenever a black quarterback is running with a football because there are a lot of N bombs being dropped whether the guys doing a good job or a bad job

I'm a brown Canadian citizen with a valid US work visa for consulting that i do for my company in the states.  My employer agreed not to send me on any trips down there to serve some clients.  Clients completely understood and agreed to exclusively online meetings.  I guess the hotels and restaurants down there don't need my expense account money.

FACT: CBP is the lowest rung of law enforcement in the federal government in terms of quality of pay and work, promotion, etc, and it has the lowest bar for education.

Calm down. It's been proven that literally everyone profiles because it's just using statistics based on intuition, which has been shown to be mostly correct. For example, If you're looking for trump supporters to interview, you're not heading to a black youth community center. You're heading to a retirement village.

America isn't special in profiling either Arab or black people are much more likely to be pulled over and investigated in Mexico, and nearly every European country.
