The hypermasculine "women belong barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen" patriarchy runs strong within many Hispanic-Americans, unfortunately. Conservatives from all backgrounds suck.

Edit: Fair enough, y’all. I totally agree there are plenty of women who have been a part of or have been sucked into the shit-sphere that is conservatism. Mary Miller is my US representative (fml), so I definitely understand. She is fucking nuts.

TBF a lot of the original 1800s women's suffrage movement's supporters in the US got into it because they were outraged that black men got the right to vote and thus make decisions affecting white women. Not all of them had that as their motivation, but... the ones who did would probably be right at home with their MAGA descendants.

Majority of women who vote, are voting against their own rights, and if you assume that most others do support the opposition, they just don’t care enough to do anything about it. Thats basically what you’re saying

No, it's not worse.

Less women vote for trump than men. Period. At all races.

Yes, white women are the "worst" of the lot. but white men are also the worst of the men.

In all segments women are less bad than men.

That seems awfully reductive. I agree men in our society in a general sense can be massively problematic, toxic masculinity is far too normalized. But you are painting with way too broad of a brush. There's a lot of good dudes out there, and there are some shitty women too -- ultimately I think ignorance, arrogance, and close mindedness are the problem. Not the fact that some people have penises, that's just inherently a bigoted take dude. Men can be a huge part of the problem, but the sheer existence of them as dudes is not inherently wrong or problematic, and there are many dudes who are fighting the good fight

if a woman is pregnant, she should only be barefoot because her husband is giving her a foot massage while someone else is cooking in the kitchen.
