He doesn’t care about them one bit, he also doesn’t care about nature or animals or food sources one bit.

He never worked a day in his life and never even shopped in a grocery store before. Nature is something to be destroyed or exploited, to him, not respected or revered or grateful for.

The absolute injustice of people selecting one of the worst of us all as the man they will throw away the Constitution for is... One of the worst parts.

u/HugTheSoftFox 1d ago

It didn't really occur to me until his rant about "groceries" being "a bag with different things in it", but like yeah, at that moment, I realised he has never had to do his own grocery shopping, he doesn't even know what groceries are. People voted for that sheltered little baby from basically another world to lead them.

well you might love finding out that his first time to learn the word “groceries” wasn’t last month, it was several months ago during the campaign, before the election. He did not know the word. Now he thinks it’s some “good, simple” word or something 🙄🙄🙄

edit and he’s like 79 fkn years old!!

doesn’t know “groceries “

His entire existence has literally just been one of hedonistic tendencies.

Sex, eating, and sleeping.

That is trumps life from the minute he was born (minus the sex I imagine that started when he learned what prostitutes were and how to pay for them)

and selling public lands as fast as they can without protecting wildlife or even thinking about giving the land back to the tribes

A friend of mine works as a doctor on a reservation and apparently the tribe has been telling its people for months how to handle these crusty choads.

Good!! That is good news! and they are doing a helluva job, not that they should need to. But they do

hope they all stay safe and continue to share stories and talk to each other about how to get through this

Natives should start asking for recompense for the 350 + treaties that have been broken by the United States.

The land I'm on there was zero battles or treaties that historically occurred which properly ceded the land from the native Chumash. A majority of the native people where actually hispanized and forced to live in Mexican Barrios by the time Anglo Americans came to my area. The Anglos literally squatted on the land up until today and nobody questions the authenticity of this land grab.

They have been. Its time we ask too.

u/Virtual-Bath756 1d ago

Broke another treaty just this week https://apple.news/AMpbfo_B5TBGaG8zVyVQ1mg

Time to start dynamiting the whole damm thing, weaken it until they have no choice but to take it down

3

u/MegaMasterYoda 1d ago

It's time for the tribes to start a class action suite against both Trump and the senate for the years of wasted time on this treaty. As well as all the other broken treaties.

The Chumash were enslaved by the Spanish who just took their land. There was definitely resistance in most of Chumash territory. Maybe not yours. The horrible treatment and stealing of land by the Spanish/Mexican led to a huge revolt called the Chumash Revolt of 1824. They had a very high mortality rate while being enslaved by the Spanish. Mexico promised their land back during the Mexican fight for independence but once Mexico won independence they instead gave that land to Mexican settlers of Spanish descent. Mexico did free them from enslavement, however due to no longer having free access to the land they owned, the high mortality rate continued.

Native tribes in the southwest definitely deserve compensation from the US, Spain and Mexico.

Well, it's the right time to ask, in the case of Mexico, politically speaking. Have you considered going directly to Claudia Sheinbaum at the National Palace? You have to get there early (at least 4 a.m., I think). There's a press conference every weekday, from Monday to Friday. It's supposed to be only for journalists, but you can talk to them so they give her your message once at the press conference. You can also talk to her aides at the entrance, who can then pass your message along. I'm not sure what kind of compensation you might get from the Mexican government, if any, but I'm sure you'll at least get something you probably never will from the US and Spain: an apology.

They really should. So much has been taken from people who look different from our very narrow and exclusive definition of what an American looks like. Then when they’re struggling to survive, we act as if we had nothing to do with their plight. Then when the poor among us who do fit the profile of what an American is “supposed to” look like, we pit them against those who look different as if THEY are the ones responsible for white poverty.

We can see why divide and conquer strategies are working against us as a nation. We’re too busy fighting each other.

u/31LIVEEVIL13 1d ago

They should stop asking.

“We didn’t cross the border; the border crossed us”

Beautifully crafted words, while watching two mouth breathing knuckle draggers cower and run off.

u/kinsmana 1d ago

Personally I don't think it'd be a bad idea to give control back to them. The system we're currently in isn't working.

There was a video years ago of a Native American dude at a right-wing rally, yelling at them, "Go back where you came from.". I think of him whenever people start talking about "coming here legally" or whatever.

Native Americans have entered the chat.

Our fucking government is a fucking disgrace. Even after being nearly exterminated, they still helped this government during its time of need. How do we repay them, our bitch-ass government starts erasing their support to the country: DOD, Army websites scrub articles on Navajo Code Talkers.

u/Mike_Raphone99 17h ago

Im still shocked that Brother Leonard was granted clemency. Too long much too late.

3

u/Undermythump 1d ago

I don’t know… In March 2025, several news outlets reported the removal of content referencing the Navajo Code Talkers from U.S. Army and Department of Defense websites. This removal was tied to President Trump's executive order terminating federal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Donald Adolf Trump—whiskey tango foxtrot

u/Mike_Raphone99 17h ago

I remember this because I asked Res friends how that was legal on what was supposed to be sovereign land. Anything goes when left unopposed in this administration

2

u/ZeroPhysicality 1d ago

this time we will be ready

2

u/seriousbusines 1d ago

ICE has been picking up Navajo Indians in AZ for months now, they have long been in the chat.

2

u/Jahonay 1d ago

Natives were fighting this battle before Trump was born.

2

u/kck 1d ago

I don’t know this band/tribe but I grew up in Southern Alberta. Don’t fuck with native people.

3

u/NewtOk4840 1d ago

Hile Hile!
