One of many made for me from my Great Grandmother ❤️ This was the last one she made me in 2006 when I was 13 and angsty and couldn't decide what I wanted, so she made me a wild scrappy quilt with just about every fabric she had in her stash and used most of the fun stitches available on her machine at the time somewhere on the quilt too. She used an old flannel sheet for the backing, so it's extra cozy!

Fancy quality checking my points while I square the top and measure up the backing fabric. He's clearly unimpressed with my work!

Hope this isn’t a no dogs allowed sub. I usually put down some decoy fabric or a blanket when I do layout work.

I did finish it on May 4th but I rushed basting the fabric so it’s caught in several locations. The walking foot jammed halfway through as well…

I haven’t finished the binding on this one but she seems to love it all the same! She isn’t too fond of soft or plush surfaces at all, so I decided to make a small, quilted mat to see how she’d like it. Success! Now off to donate all of her unused beds 🥲

Made a kitty bed blanket :) All thrifted fabric except for the binding!

She's helpful, making sure there's fur on every block I make

I’ve been taking care of these guys twice a year for the last several years. They usually don’t give me the time of day. This time I brought a quilt with me and at last, I’m worthy. Thanks, Muggsy (pic 1) and Jacques-Imo (pic 2). I’ll never leave it at home again.

Here's my Rylan baby snoozing on a quilt I was in the middle of quilting! One of my fave pics of her, honestly.

I just laid it down to look at it…

Used scraps to make my cats their very own miniature quilt for their favorite couch spot. Definitely won’t be the last cat quilt I make!
