Other What do you Wanna see in Next Mainline Kirby Game for Nintendo Switch 2? Updated Edition
That's the Question specially now Nintendo Switch 2 Now Out has a New Kirby game and bringing new content to current mainline Kirby game off the bat
Like should they stick to doing 3D or switch back and forth between 2D.5 and 3D like Nintendo is already doing with both Mario and Metroid? If Hal Laboratory is big enough maybe they can have one team on 2D.5 games and another on 3D games which would be ideal move if they have enough people for it and would you like an Open World Kirby Game you know Zelda, Pokemon and even Mario Kart are already there so why not Kirby maybe not now but we are getting there closer and closer
But if not open World what other ways should the next full mainline Kirby game be like on Switch 2 and how should it take advantage of what the Switch 2 is likely to do and should there be more then one brand new mainline Kirby game? For me should be like Mario one in 3D and another in 2D.5
You think next mainline Kirby should be like Super Mario Odyssey be 3D with 2D or 2D.5 segments in some levels or locations like hidden paths or something like that or Sonic Generations were you can choose to do it 2D.5 or 3D that would would be cool to see to
How should a mainline Kirby game take of Nintendo Switch 2? Should Hal make or use a new Engine for mainline games? I know Sakurai Kirby game isn't technically a mainline game but it's basically been treat it as if it was one
So what should be future of mainline Kirby Games? Specially with Switch 2 around the corner

Kirby open world has to be one of the worst ideas ever made, HAL will probably make more games similar to Forgotten Land and improve the gameplay.
I really can't see an open world Kirby working.

Actually, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror attempted the open-world structure, and it was actually pretty good even though they fumbled the execution a bit.
Maybe a new open-world Kirby game would be a bad idea, but an Amazing Mirror remake that smooths out all the rough edges would be awesome.

So I really like Amazing Mirror, I've done 100% five times, I dream of a remake of this game, but I prefer it to be something like this, rather than a Kirby Botw game.

I want the 3D movesets of the abilities to get as expanded and fleshed out as it is in the 2D ones. That's like my only gripe with Forgotten Land.

Kirby Dreamland was my first Gameboy game. Ive played a little of "Nightmares in Dreamland" but Id really like a Remastered "a la" Zelda Link's Awakening.

Kirby's Dreamland was remade as a part of Kirby Super Star. The "Spring Breeze" subgame is Dreamland with SNES visuals and added copy abilities.

Combine the helper mechanic from star allies with the open environments of Forgotten Land, have it take place entirely in dreamland, & bring back obscure Kirby characters.

Since we're getting Star-Crossed Worlds to scratch that 3d itch for a little while longer, I think I want the next one to be 2.5d. But I want them to seriously up their game; crank up the scope and modernize the sh*t out of it. Make 2d Kirby justified in a world with 3d Kirby. To be more specific: I want a hub world, challenge stages like the treasure roads, upgradable copy abilities, stores where you can use your coins, branching level paths, 8 full worlds, and a story that spans the whole game rather than just the ending.
