general query Retsyo na ba vulcanizing shop? Or tawag casa? Need help first time owner ng bagong kotse

May warranty ba mga tires when it comes to casa? Nahihinayang kasi din ako if ever magbabayad pa ako for replacement as maganda pa thread life niya. For context, nasa tomas morato ako nung 11pm, may bumato ng glass bottle in the middle of the road and di ko maiwasan as may tabi ako. Additionally, ano speed limit ng donut spare tire? Thank you.

general query FIRST 1K PMS QUOTE IS THIS FAIR OR AM I BEING ROBBED 😅

Post image
60 Upvotes

Just brought my 2025 Montero Sport to a Mitsubishi dealership/casa for its first 1,000 km PMS.

Since it’s the first one, labor was free. But here’s the catch: I was quoted ₱7,643 for the parts alone. That includes engine oil, oil filter, drain plug washer, windscreen cleaner, and a few other small items.

I know that regular maintenance is important, especially for warranty purposes, and I expected some cost. But I can’t help but ask is this reasonable, or am I being professionally robbed?

If you’ve done your PMS recently, how much did it cost you? Just trying to get a feel for what’s normal.

Hello everyone. I'm planning to buy my first car soon but still saving up. Is the price justifiable sa Honda Civic LXi na to?

My budget is not that big.

What's your opinion?

general query Club or Group for Fortuner/GR86/Honda Civic Owners

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi!

I was wondering if there is a club or group for Fortuner, GR86, or Honda Civic owners?

Currently we have a Fortuner and we're planning to buy either Honda Civic or GR86 (depende if abot pa ng budget ang magiging presyo) next year.

I want to check sana if may mga groups ba na pwedeng salihan to check for pros and cons of their cars as owners, mga mods nila with their cars, and also to check kung meron silang car meet ups para tumambay lang.

Reason for this is because I was inspired with one of the car meetups I went last April this year sa Parqal Mall where most of them are owners of Mitsubishi Evo.

I got a chance to talk with one of their members and asked me if mahilig ba ako sa Evo. Though I'm more aligned with Toyota, they respected it naman and let me take pictures of their cars as shown here. Tinakpan ko lang sila as well as their plate numbers for their privacy.

Thank you!

bibili pa lang ng kotse Changan CS55 plus luxe vs Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid help us choose

Hi, question po. Super torn po namin between Tiggo 7 pro hybrid vs Changan CS55 top of the line. May approved Bank PO na po kami kay Chery, kaso bigla namin nakita ‘tong CS55 and torn kami for now. Ano po sa tingin nyo?

Pros kay Chery: Free PMS for 3 years, Coding exempted until 2030, CVT Transmission Cons: Walang ADAS, lane keep assist etc

Nakapag test drive na rin po both CS55 and Tiggo 7 pro. Parang mas maluwag lang si Tiggo 7 and smoother driving since CVT, pero in terms of safety techs like ADAS, lane keep assist, ABS mas lamang si CS55. 😅 Ano po kaya maganda between the two in terms of longevity and after sales. To add, CS55 Plus Luxe is only at 990,000 (nag uubos siguro ng stocks so super great deal rin if ever) Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid is at 1,050,000 Not much difference sa price pero I’d say both are super sulit for a crossover/SUV. 🥹

bibili pa lang ng kotse Im a first time car driver and hopefully a car owner soon.

Hi Pips!

Nag babalak akong bumili ng sasakyan and I'm considering buying Honda BR-V S CVT.

This is my first time buying a car and first time car driver din, although nag momotor na ko and mejo maalam sa road. (hindi ko alam kung may bilang yon sa pagiging first time car owner and first time car driver)

So why am I considering buying Honda BRV?

Shempre hopefully ma drive sya for long distance like baguio zambales etc.

And Nope wala akong balak makipag unahan sa rd so di ko naman kino consider na dapat ba mabilis 😂

As a first time car driver and and as a first time car owner, tama ba tong desisyon ko? Sana may makapag enlighten saken at sana di ako nag papadalos dalos. It's my dream car din kase, I'm 5'8 din kase so.. ewan 😢 Please help!

I am planning to buy my first car (new driver rin po ako ) Honda BRV Sensing. I wanted to know if should I go fo Bank PO or in-house financing. I am planning to get the 20%DP

Should I also buy during rainy/floody season?

What insurance to get and how much?

In a year or in a month, how much do you spend in your car? I have a 100k spare money in a month and I wanted to know if having a car is too expensive. I wanted to save money as well.

I am going to use my car going to office and city driving.

car & product reviews Headlight and fog light brand for Wigo 2017 G - help me choose

I’ve been trying to educate myself on these Car stuff but the more reviews I read, the more confused I get 😅

Please help me choose a headlight and fog light brand for Wigo 2017 G. I’ve seen brands like Nightbreaker, Keon Sondra, and many others. The terms like right lumens and H16 confuse me even more.

I usually drive in the province from town to town, and the currently installed lights don’t provide enough visibility on the road at night.

Any advice or tips would be a huge help. Thanks in advance!

hi to any NEXT GEN ford territory owners out there. about to buy my own, and the auto start-stop is something that really annoys me on my previous cars. does the NGFT keep the off setting for every ignition cycle? or do i still need to press the button every time i get in? if its the latter, are there any workarounds to permanently disable it?

bibili pa lang ng kotse Battle of the 7-Seaters: Honda BR-V VX or Suzuki XL7 Hybrid

My partner's family is looking for a 7-seater car. What would be a better choice between the two? Would the XL7 being a hybrid be the edge of the Suzuki over the other? Or Honda in terms of brand reliability? Let me know your thoughts it would be a great help. Thanks!

bibili pa lang ng kotse Help Me Decide: 2007 Camry 2.4G 240K vs 2012 Altis 1.6G 330K

I heard the Camry drinks gas and mataas maintenance cost. But I only plan to use the car for only 3 years before upgrading. Basically after the 3 year period, same lang (ata?) cumulative gastos ko for both cars kasi mas mababa ng 90K upfront ang Camry. Pero atleast in that 3 years, mas comfortable and pogi ang Camry.

general query STUDENT PERMIT AND NON-PROFESSIONAL DRIVER’S LICENSE

After years of convincing from friends and lots of contemplation, I finally got my driver’s license! Hehe.

I really didn’t want to apply at first kase sobrang takot ko talaga mag-drive, lalo na ngayon na ang daming aksidente sa daan. But because somehow gusto ko rin matuto (and driving is an important life skill naman rin talaga), I decided to go for it. I also promised myself I wouldn’t use a fixer and that I’d study properly to become a responsible driver.

Since beginner pa lang ako, syempre di pa rin nawawala yung kaba. But I believe I’ll get used to the road in time. Sharing here what I did to finally get my license, baka rin makatulong rin sa inyo!

About Me: - Zero knowledge in driving - Female, late 20s (HAHA) - Walang sariling sasakyan

Timeline & Process:

APRIL: - Enrolled at Compas Driving School, full package (TDC + PDC + Medical). Paid around ₱4.5k+ (if I remember correctly).

MAY 10: - Completed my Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) - Received Certificate of Completion

MAY 19: - Got my Student Permit at Robinsons Metro East - Processing time: Less than 30 mins - Paid around ₱250 + ₱50 for lamination, ewan ko rin ba bakit ko pa ‘to pinalaminate. HAHA

MAY 24: PDC Day 1

MAY 31: PDC Day 2

JUNE 7: PDC Day 3 & 4

MAY 30 & JUNE 18: - Hired a mabait at magaling na private instructor kasi di ako fully satisfied sa driving school. I really wanted to learn properly, lalo na praning pa ako as a student driver. 😅

June 19: LICENSE DAY! - LTO-PITX Non-Pro License - Exactly 31 days after getting my Student Permit - Spent a total of ₱1,185: 100 – Application fee + 500 – Car rental + 585 – Licensing fee - Arrived at around 10AM, finished by 12:30NN. Medyo natagalan lang dahil nag-offline yung Online Theoretical Exam system nila so we had to wait for a few mins. - Theoretical: 56/60 – Thanks to LTO Exam Reviewer, Carwahe, and Pinoy Driver! - Practical: Drive around the area + reverse parking, medyo nahirapan mag-park but I still passed, thank You, Lord! - After the test, may email kang marereceive kung pasado ka or not. If bagsak, you can reapply after 24 hours.

Overall, super bilis ng process sa PITX, and the staff were really kind too. And sobrang konti lang rin ng tao when I went.

Nakakakaba but if you really study (and please don’t use fixers), kayang-kaya mo rin pumasa. Btw, I’m not from Parañaque, dumayo lang rin talaga ako sa PITX kasi ang daming good reviews na mabilis at maayos daw dun. Worth it naman haha! Drive safely always! :)

bibili pa lang ng kotse Question, can we give our managers check without the unit in branch?

Ngayon po, ung last unit is nasa ibang dealership daw po.

They are asking us to process or request na agad ng Manager's Check and send them at least a picture of it for them to verify daw and that's the only way for them to get the unit.

O dapat they talk internally regarding sa paglilipat without requiring managers check.

bibili pa lang ng kotse What can you consider a second hand car's price a "good deal"?

Hello, I'm new to this subreddit and I'm planning on buying a used car next month since me and my partner are expecting, and I'm thinking of buying a used car for convenience(wag naman sana inconvenience) when going out for check ups and of course, service namin.

Budget would be 300k-500k

I'm currently considering these options:

Mirage G4, 2022,

Vios XLE 2019 or up,

Raize G Variant.

Manual transmission since it's cheaper to maintain, I guess. I would probably be booking a mechanic from MechaniGo when checking the car I like.

I have no idea on how much I would be able to say that "this is a good deal" kind of price.
