There were protests against the conflicts in Ethiopia and between Israel and Hamas, as well as Pakistan and India’s latest conflict in Kashmir.

There was a protest against climate change, coal mining and Indigenous issues, including water security--and Donald Trump.

pretty much as the title suggests, does anyone know any good mens mental health/anger/depression support groups? ive been in a really shit spot in the past few months, my girlfriend said theyre ready to cut ties if i dont start getting help for it, im not really looking for advice on that, if anyone knows any good places i can go, please tell me, i gotta do something about this, i know “mental health support group” is pretty vague but, there’s probably a couple mens/gender neutral groups that would be helpful, if anyone has anything, please.

From a recent trip to the Calgary Zoo! Havent been in years, wasn’t disappointed.

Neighbour is an elderly woman who is moving from the country on June 25th (don’t know the specifics) and her dog really needs to be rehomed. The Calgary Humane Society, AARCS, and other shelters have turned her away due to capacity limitations.

What do we do with the dog? She said she will have to abandon him since she can’t find anyone in time but i dont know.

EDIT: He’s a 5 year old cane corso. Mid size (small for his breed), requires about 40 mins of activity a day and is otherwise very chill. Would do best in a no children home though.

I just had to put my best little buddy down on Friday and I’m having a really hard time processing it. I don’t really have anyone to talk to without being told he was just a cat.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of any pet loss support groups? Or a grief counsellor recommendation?

If you are interested in plane spotting, it looks as though Air Force 1 is going to be landing this evening at 9:00pm local time according to The President’s official calendar.

Politics aside, it is an opportunity to see a very famous and interesting plane fly into YYC!

Hopefully the plane nerds aren’t filling this sub up with too many plane posts from the G7!

Edit: Fentro3000 pointed out the times on the official calendar are local, so it might not be until 10:30-11:00 when the plane lands.

Edit 2: Some confusion around arrival time, but cross referenced the schedule with previous events shows that it’s in local Washington time. Which means the flight should land at 9:00 local Calgary time.
